This is a very useful and quality product. Have been using close to a year now, the installation was done by authorised personnel recommended by the seller in Bangalore. Lock has been working flawlessly till now.

good product but looks bulky on door otherwise operation is smoother

I bought two of these bulky door locks and both stopped working within two years. The first one gradually stopped unlocking and I thought it was because of corrosion at the JST connector but replacing that did not help. The second one's microswitch circuit board spontaneously disconnected. That is too high a failure rate for an expensive lock. The handle typically comes off since the screw holding it is very small and is likely to fall off. And the vendor will not help you out here and the screw is not easy to find. The fingerprint scanner works but a one-handed operation is not possible, unlike another one I bought for half the price with a scanner in the handle itself. It also makes a noise that you can't suppress but the sound is not too loud. I replaced both locks with just a simple fingerprint-alone lock for half the price (4k) as I did not need all the complexity. You can search for it on Amazon itself. But if you really need a keypad for numerical (passcode) entry, and you are not bothered about durability then this one is the cheapest you can find. I will not recommend this lock because of poor durability, design issue with the handle, and sub-optimal customer support.

I like this biometric lock too much I am using it since 15 years and I bought 3 more last year for my house.
