Great for Nursing Students
I am a nursing student and this is perfect practice. No it doesn’t come with instructions as some reviews pointed out but you shouldn’t need them if you are using this as a way to practice doing IVs or blood draws. You will need to supply your own needles and dressing as it only comes with the silicone pad. It does have a strong smell but only when you actually smell it super close. There are actual "veins" in here and can be filled with liquid to simulate a real blood draw or to get a flash. However, don’t over fill it. Use the tiniest amount or it will leak out the sides. Personally, I use it to help get use to puncturing the skin.

Great fake skin for teaching.
Great for practice for jv starts. It is small and portable.

Great practice
This thing really helped hone my IV skills in nursing school and after. Less one star becauae I wish the veins were softer. They are harder than veins would be causing you to slightly alter technique.

Great practice pad
A great practice pad for the price. The feel of the material is very realistic, the veins are slippery and roll just like the real thing, there is a satisfying pop that can be felt when you puncture one of the tubes. I haven't tried using injected liquid to try and mimic a return, but this isn't really the price point for a sophisticated feature like that. For practicing palpating veins and getting the feel of penetrating dermal layers and veins, this pad can't be beat.

Pretty cool
I am very satisfied with this product because it will definitely help me with practicing during my phlebotomy class, the chemical smell isn’t bad unless you have your nose directly up to it.

Smells awful but works fine
This product works fine for the purpose of injections, the material is very successful in self-healing after punctures. Bad news is that it’s got a potent chemical smell that makes it hard to even stay in the same room. I’ve had it for months now and I’ve tried washing it, but the smell remains. When it’s in a closed box the smell isn’t a problem, but the moment I bring it out the stench is back. It’s hard to practice as much as I’d like with the noxious fumes.

Awesome practice
As you can see in the picture the injection pad is about the size of a hand. The material is awesome, very skin like and realistic with practicing injections. Would definitely buy again, super pleased with this purchase!

not at all as expected, don’t waste your money
awful. horrible strong smell, can barely tell if i went past the vein or punctured it right. putting liquid in the veins are useless, the holes are extremely small and you don’t get a “flash” when putting in an IV. also extremely hard to push through, nothing like real skin. returning!
