Cello Solos: Everybody's Favorite Series, Volume 40

I have been using this book for around six monthes now, and I believe that it is the best cello solo book out on the market. There are so many classics in this book, such as Dvorak, C. Saens, Chopin, Brahms, Tschikowski, and many other great composers to choose from. The pieces in this book range from a few easy pieces, to quite a few intermediate pieces, and an equal amount of advanced pieces. It is a great book for sight reading. It has greatly improved my playing, and I would highly recommend this book to any cellist who wants to improve, or just wants to learn some beautiful songs.

This is my second time purchase this book. Last time I bought a used book, there's no separate cello part. This time I bought a whole new book, still missing separate cello part. I'm not happy with this!

My daughter has been playing the cello for several years now, and we're planning to start up private lessons for her as well as in school. The teacher who we're going to pay for the private lessons suggested we get this book and it's just what she wanted!

The cello part insert should be included and it is clearly written in the book description. However. I only received the piano part. Very disappointed! I have returned the book.

Good book. Lots of sharps and flats. I think there was also a key change.

Missing cello part

The music is varied and good for beginner and intermediate cellists. However, my copy did not come with the solo cello part, making the purchase almost useless.

Great cello solos for both practice and performance. Complete with piano accompaniment, thus book contains pieces for beginners and professionals alike.

It was surprised not to have the solo cello part included. I purchased three copies of this book in the past, always came with the cello part and the piano accompaniment part. This order came with the piano part only. This is the first time in my 50+ year career that this happened. Strange.

Clear print, most of it playable for Trinity grade 5-6 cellist. Requires shift till 4th position.
