I have two complaints. First, reliably runs Ubuntu 22.04 but nothing newer. Second, after moving the OS to the NVMe card, you have to leave the SD card in to initiate boot at startup before the NVMe takes over. It would be nice if there was a firmware update to fix that problem. Other than that, since the Raspberry Pi is an endangered species due to memory prices (which may be coming down rapidly in 2027), and since the projects I'm currently working on run in Ubuntu and do not need the Raspberry GPIO, I'm settling for these low cost Pro 4 boards. They seem to be doing the job just fine for a much lower price point. I don't think I'd use them for any kind of production device, but for development, they are just fine. Truthfully, unless Raspberry can figure out a way to drop their prices, I don't see purchasing anything over the 4GB board's cost ($110) unless I have to have the GPIO pins or space is at an absolute premium.

Great price and performance for the price. Less software and documentation available.

Good price. No issues. I also purchased a power supply and a heat sink kit. 2 things to know. I comes in a sturdy plastic box that I use to protect it from shorting out. I cut holes in the box for ventilation, power input and cat5 cable. If you are going to add a NVMe SSD like I did, the (machined) screw does not come with the board. You will need one to make sure the NVMe stays secured in place.

Works well but more limited software support. Had to use DKMS to compile new TUN to use Tailscale in Ubuntu Server image provided by the manufacturer.
