Practical in that you can drink tea without waiting for your teapot to cool off
I was reading some tea books showing tasters and their setup with small sampling cups, so it gave me an idea, a small cup so I can drink and taste tea, without having to wait for the teapot to cool off or put the tea in a bigger cup (which cools off faster than the teapot). This is a slower method of drinking tea, so if you are in a hurry, you may find it frustrating. On the other hand, if you are doing this while relaxing or reading or working on the computer and such, this is nice. The cup is really small, holds 80 ml which is about 2.7 oz. That's about 1/3rd of a standard cup (8 oz). I always brew the tea elsewhere. I haven't tried brewing tea in this cup because it's just too small for that.Because of the double wall design, it doesn't get hot, so you can pick it up and drink. And because it is open up top, it cools off faster than your teapot, so you can keep drinking hot tea (drink this, fill it again, and repeat). Depending on how well your teapot retains heat, you don't have to drink room temperature tea.I've been using it multiple times daily for about a month now, and I haven't had any issues. I am careful with it, but it doesn't seem as fragile as looks (I accidentally bumped it at very low speeds against other things on the kitchen counter). This is the second Borosilicate item I've used, and I'm becoming a fan of the material for tea.It arrives carefully packaged (and if you ship things or store fragile things, you can save and reuse the packaging material), however, it does not have any packaging of its own. So if you are planning to give this as a gift, you may want to send it to yourself and prepare it for the gift set.

Cute and cheap- get what you pay for
This cup arrived yesterday and i've already used it twice now. It's cute and bubbly looking, and it definitely does the job... when pulling espresso shots, i didn't feel any hot glass since its double-walled.But i just wish that it was a little heavier... it feels cheap. And i'm scared to drop/break it. When you hold the cup, you definitely feel that it's delicate and light. Just wish it was heavier and sturdy feeling. Other than that, good size for my espresso machine shots and does the job.

Great but small and fragile
Nice little bubble glass. Quality is good but it feels VERY breakable. I'm afraid to put it in the dishwasher so I hand wash it.Pros:-Seems well made and definitely insulates from hot liquid-hot beverage cools pretty fast, easy to down an espresso shot within a couple minutes. I was trying to use Japanese Saki cups for my espresso and they just get too hot to handle, so this is the solution for that.-If you are in to novelty coffee or tea drinking, this gives you a lot of activity. Only about two good swallows per cup. That picture in the listing? One good big swallow for a man. A woman may be able to nurse it for a few good sips. If you like to have the coffee or tea pot right in front of you and pour every couple three drinks or so, this is for you.Cons:-Tiny! 2oz. that's why they call them espresso "shots". Don't think you are going to walk away from the tea or coffee pot and have something to sip on for a bit. I am done in seconds once the coffee cools down. But that's OK, I bought this for coffee shots. Problem is, my moka pot makes a little over 3oz...I will be shopping for a larger version of something like this...maybe the 3oz-Seems fragile! It may not be as fragile as it seems but I'm not going to push it. Borosilicate glass is excellent for hot and cold extremes but can still break if impacted like dropping. All in all, not a bad product for the money. I need something just a touch bigger though. I am not trying to sit around staring at a coffee or tea pot and filling every couple of drinks. I want to do a shot and move on or take a mug of jo or tea with me to my office or on the road. But I'm a man...and I try to keep my pinky down! For ladies that miss those cutesy tea parties as a little girl with those little miniature cups...they get to relive that childhood!

They are very nice, but too delicate for me
They are very nice, but too delicate for me. If you live in a soft world and don't have kids they might wonderful. They break like a light bulb though.

Elegant and Practical! A Treasure!
First, I don't understand all the negative reviews about the size of these cups. The size/volume is very clearly stated and if consumers actually **READ** before clicking "buy", there would be no wailing and whining that "...these cups would make better votive holders than mugs..." If you want a SUPERSIZE ME coffee or tea drink that can sit in your SUV's console or clutter your desk and is loaded with sugar and synthetic syrup in sickening combinations (hot buttered salted caramel cinnamon pumpkin mocha anyone?!) then these are not for you or your consumption needs.I adore loose tea and find these delicate, clear borosilicate glass cups to be ideal for enjoying tea gongfu style. They are a delight to hold, elegant but sturdy, do not let the hands get too hot or uncomfortable and maintain temperature well. If you enjoy the slow food mindset and are willing to take a breath, slow down, be mindful and take time to sip and be present, then you, too will find these gentle, organically shaped vessels to be a great adjunct to your tea or espresso time.

TINY TINY TINY
I hate when someone put's tea CUP, when it's NOT. By definition how much it holds is in the title CUP tea cup, this thing doesn't hold 2oz much less a cup. It sits in my bathroom with a candle in it...it was only 3.95 but not worth it. I feel they shouldn't use the picture they do because it's misleading. I would not be back, this is to misleading and I just can't trust someone who knows this is smaller then an espresso " cup" anyway. Just misleading.
