Good quality product
The item matches the description perfectly. It is built to be heavy-duty, ensuring durability and strength, making it ideal for demanding tasks. Additionally, the price is quite reasonable considering the quality and performance it offers. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone in search of a reliable and sturdy option.

El Cheapo, but it works!
Mine came bent. The metal is cheap enough that you can easily bend it back straight. The pencil is easy in and out. I used it to do some constructions to cut patterns to make some jigs. It is fine for that. For the price, if you break it just toss it and get another. It isn't made for woodworking, but it works fine for that. Just remember it is for little kids in school, not for getting slammed around in a wood shop. On quality of the instrument, 3 stars, but on quality against utility and price, 4 stars.

Perfect
Does exactly what it says- perfectly functional compass for $2! It’s metal, not plastic, & same size as what we used to use back in school. Easy to use, looks sturdy, & adjustment is easy for anybody.

Metal Leg not Easy to Handle
I generally feel Westcott products are of decent quality. I bought this because I only need a compass and this is a good price. It's ok in general, very sturdy with a small angle measurement at the hinge (which I guess is helpful for professionals). But the metal leg is designed with sort of blade-like, since it's steady, it's hard to pull and adjust the leg. Every time I try to adjust the leg, I had to be careful not to cut my skin... it's not that sharp, but definitely not the easiest to handle.
