Metal hardware kits
We installed these on our screened deck. Photos are after installation so disregard the mess please. These were easy to install. The metal hardware should last forever. Our installation is to better protect patio furniture from sun fade and blowing rain. Would highly recommend.

Couple improvements would make these amazing…
Great product for the most part - just a few things to keep in mind. I bought 15 packages and made my neighbors disappear… amazing. However 1. 1x6 boards warp and twist - would be nice to have a reinforcement band (up charge) to prevent. 2. The wood shrinks as it dries and makes them not work - best to use dry wood. 3. The screws stick in the drill bit / annoying. 4. You really need control brackets for both sides (up charge). 5. The metal guide is not the correct distance - dumb - made me have to do twice to get the control arms to match up and all louvers open at the same spacing.Overall cool product but not as “easy” as one would think..

Easy to install, even if you are not very handy. You do need a rivet gun. FYI

Awesome sunshade/privacy system
I love our sun shade. The system is easy to install. We predrilled the screw holes so our wood wouldn't split. We painted our boards before attaching them the the system parts. The summer sunrise comes right into our guest room. It also to bright to enjoy my coffee on the porch. This system will take care of both issues.

Perfect exactly what I was going for
We put on a new deck this summer and have neighbors to the left and right so there’s very little privacy. When designing the deck I can across these and it was a perfect solution. Open when we want and closed when we want privacy. Pretty easy to install as long as you start level. I have 2x6 on 5 1/2” columns so I had to rivit them together which is an option on the wider columns. I still have a few more to do.
