Rogelio Bueno Red Mole 8.25oz (234g)

I think this is the best mole on the market. It has medium heat and a lot easier than making it yourself. The taste is delicious and all you have to do is add chicken broth and your chicken. Can be done in crock pot, on stove or in oven.

I ordered this mole sauce, rather than picking up a jar of Dona Maria at the local store, because I had read several reviews which claimed it was much better. I disagree. I found the Rogelio Bueno mole to be much sweeter, with more cinnamon; with less complexity and less chocolate and smoky flavors than the Dona Maria. My husband compared the Rogelio Bueno mole to spicy gingerbread. Everyone in my house strongly preferred the Dona Maria. I know mole varies greatly, but the Rogelio Bueno mole did not remind me of the mole I've had in Mexico. I will not be buying it again.

The best mole out there

I just opened this product and it was as hard as hard dirt/chalk with no instructions as to whether or how one might turn it into a liquid form. I was told it was too late to get a refund/credit. Really?

I purchased 2 Mole, both of the seals had been broken. Obviously unable to use. Amazon policy also unable to return.

I served this last night over chicken but had to place extra napkins at the table to mop our sweating brows! Muy picante! The rest of the flavors were excellent but overpowered by the heat. I'd have preferred a milder sauce with the option to add cayenne or hot sauce to taste.
