Light and easy to use - good quality optics
I bought this for carrying around with me when I was out walking and for £40 it's excellent. Good optics and eye relief. Comes with a handy carrying pouch that easily attaches to your belt and the objective lens has an attached lens cover - so you won't loose it.I find it comfortable to use both with and without glasses and it's so much easier to carry around than even a small pair of binoculars. Overall I liked the focus lever - it allows you to focus quickly and is stiff enough that it doesn't loose focus - but it is a smidgeon too precise so I find myself holding the monocular with both hands (which also gives you a steadier view). I got the 8x version since I find it's a bit harder with a monocular to find the object you want to look at - so the extra field of view is more useful than an extra 2x magnification (however if I only used it to look at fixed objects that would shift the balance to the 10x version).Summary: if you want a small optic you can keep with you and forget it's there then this is perfect - cheap enough not to matter too much if you loose it etc but good enough to give you a clear view.

Handy and good quality
A surprisingly nice quality monocular.Feels good in the hand with its rubbery coating.Easy to carry instead of binoculars for making quick observations while out and about or working.Supplied with a case, strap and lens cap, although I thought it is at its most pocketable without the accessories in tow.The focus mechanism is easy to use with one hand and finger; the focuser is quite stiff, but that means it doesn't drift and stays in one place between uses. The image quality is good, but my only complaint is that I found the "long" eye relief was still a bit too tight to see the entire field of view while wearing glasses.

Excellent
A really good bit of kit. Very well made, easy to hold and focus and optically excellent. This is towards the budget end of the monocular market but its performance belies its price. It is compact, the rubber armoured body provides excellent grip and the eyepiece adjustment and focus lever are very smooth and easy to use. It is a really useful monocular which fits into a pocket and is ready to use at a moments notice. Highly recommended.

A powerfully precise and perfectly portable gem
This is ideal! The 8x magnification is perfect for a 25mm objective lens as it provides a decent field of view, returning a bright, crisp and - most importantly - STILL image (a higher magnification would have caused the image to be shaky for a 25mm objective lens). As you can see, it fits in my hand and - better still - my coat pocket, plus it's very light.Other reviews here criticise the stiffness of the focus lever, but - to me - that is a strength because once I got my focus spot on, the stiffness was helpful for preventing movement, which would have blurred the focus. The cap over the objective lens is great as it's attached and whilst I agree with other reviews that the cap for the eyecup is loose and can fall off easily, that minor issue is not a big deal as it also comes with a pouch. Overall, this is a perfectly portable and powerful piece of kit!

Well made
Sturdy well made product for the price. Clarity is good. Images are sharp. Comfortable to hold. Decent pouch. It isn't bulky so it easily fits into a small bag or a pocket. Good for birdwatching in the garden or seeing the detail up high on tall buildings like ornate cathedrals.

Exceptionally good. Really recommend this item.
I've accumulated many monoculars over the years as prefer them over binoculars though I've inherited X2 pairs of Zeiss binos via my dad and find them too cumbersome. The optics on this piece seem to compare favourably with my Zeiss Turmon 8 x 21 monocular.Very surprised at how good this is really especially for the price. The case and lanyard are fine .. The rear lens cap could fit tighter - simple fix is thin strip of good quality masking tape fitted to inside edge this grips better than electric tape and won't go sticky after time. Front cap perfect. .The focus system a little different, but you get used to it quickly.

Handy travel companion
Bought this to keep in a small motorcycle tank bag on my travels. Very handy and compact, seems well built and not flimsy and the optics are clear enough for a cheap item.

A very good product
I wanted to give this 5 stars but had to dock one for focusing. The focus lever seemed a good idea but in practice it is extremely stiff & too precise. Only 1mm. Either way & it's out of focus. A great pity as the optics are very good trust me on this as I've owned Leica binoculars before. Build is very good & it is very pocketable I do use this far more than my binoculars so take all this on board & seriously consider this product.
