Not worth the money
Purchased after reading an excellent review. Despite very high cost, it is not as sturdy and well made as I expected. When opening top, to get pet out at vets, it is very fiddly to close, only locking shut when everything is exactly lined up. If it was better built, this would not be a problem.

Awful design for the lid, impossible to close with a cat inside unless you have two people doing it
This has to be the worst design cat carrier I've ever encountered. The two flaps that form the lid have to close into each other, like a jaw closing shut, and they have to line up perfectly to do so. There's pegs that stick out of the edge of one flap, which have to slot into holes along the edge of the other. This means that you need to close both flaps at the same time, or you'll end up with one lid closing over the other one and so you can't do up the clasps - well, closing two flaps at the same time takes two hands. And given that they're made of relatively flexible plastic, there's a bit of give, and so actually getting them to line up and slot together isn't immediate anyway, and that's when you're just doing it by yourself without a cat involved. Now add a stressed and angry cat to the mix - and remember you already need two hands just to bring the two lid flaps together at the same time - it's just impossible. Be prepared for a lot of claws and bloodshed and for your cat to thoroughly hate you, and then accept that it's simply not possible without two entire people involved and even then it's still going to be tricky and you're still going to get injured. And then as you're getting the two halves together, a naughty paw sticks out, well this isn't like a regular door where if you push it closed it will also encourage the paw back inside - if you push the halves together now, you're basically trying to chop the paw off, and any pressure you apply makes it harder for your cat to pull their paw back inside. The whole design is just completely the opposite of what would actually be helpfulA sensible design would have allowed you to close one lid over the other one, so you could work quickly with one hand doing first one lid then the other, with your free hand dealing with the cat inside until the last possible moment, when you bring the second lid quickly down over the first one, but that isn't what we've got here. So I'm reduced to putting my cat in through the front door, and frankly could have bought a simpler carrier for a quarter of the price, given that the supposed benefits of this one don't actually benefit at all

Puss in Box
Very sturdy, as usual with self assembly some guesswork had to be done, once fitted together its fine. Puss liked it which is what counts, vets impressed too with the easy access.

Large and easy to clean carrier
I have also got this in pink but as I now have two cars I got this colour. It is easy to clean if your cat makes a mess. It has a lip around the floor so that urine goes into that and does not stay where the cat is sitting. It has lots of ventilation holes to get rid of smells if your cat messes. For travel the handle is designed so that a car seat belt will go through and keep the carrier secure. In the door there is a feeding tray for long journeys. The top opens so you can open the top or the door to put your cat in or get them out. The carrying strap makes it easier to carry the carrier up and down stairs and is fine when the cat is in the carrier. The carrier is easy to assemble if you follow the instructions and use the picture to help guide you.

Great design let down by very poor manufacturing quality
I bought this to take my cat on a long car journey as it was recommended to me by a friend who has one. This cat carrier is very well designed but is let down by the quality manufacture and poor quality control. The opening and closing top would have been excellent if the plastic mouldings could actually align and the edges would close properly.I love the positive lock on the front closure, as it should defeat the most determined feline escapologist. Other good features are the clear door and the little opening in the front for putting food and water bowls in. It can also be used as an opening for petting the cats and comforting them.Unfortunately I'm going to have to return this and use his old carrier, which needs replacing. Hopefully the replacement will actually have been through quality control and will be manufactured to a better standard. I'll update this review once I've received a new one.

Stylish but unstable
This is a great carrier. Big space, but I still had to get another larger sized carrier to fit my 2 1 year old Ragdolls. The door on this carrier doesn’t feel sturdy at all. It’s loose and a sharp pull would break it.

Absolutely love this carrier
I recently purchased this carrier and have to say that both I and my furballs love it. They have taken to using this as a bed and cat cave and we have had a few fisticuffs over whose carrier it is.😸The top opening can be a bit finicky to close, however once closed seems firm and like it will hold well. The front door is really solid and thicker than I expected, I was expecting a flimsy thin door based on some of the reviews I have seen but this is not the case. Even the latch seems hefty and solid.Having recently taken all 4 cats to the vets for their annual check up in the height of summer in a standard carrier, I have a real appreciation for the removable food and water tray and am pretty sure the gang will feel the same on our next outing. My cats are on the smaller side with the heaviest tapping out at 11lb of (5kg) and there seems to be plenty of room for him.Two have slept in it together but would not recommend taking more than one cat in it at a time. I have not tried it in the car yet, but do not anticipate this being an issue.A bit pricey when you have to buy more than one but I believe you get what you pay for and this is worth the money. My only gripe is I cant find the pale pink, grey or burgundy versions although there are pictures of them all over the web. I have 2 girls and 2 boys and I want a different colour for each (completely spoilt wrotten) but I think they would give this a thumbs up.😻
