CuiZen CFD-2116 Dehydrator with 6-Stackable Trays

I bought one of these units exactly one month ago today, and I've really been putting it through its paces. I have yet to be disappointed. I've dried several batches of superb beef jerky, a bunch of tomatoes (which I then powdered), zucchini and apple chips, and heaps upon heaps of mixed baby greens (they reconstitute perfectly in soups and whatnot). This thing will run like a champ for at least 72 hours straight at full heat (yeah, first batch of jerky wasn't cut nearly thin enough, my longest run so far). It's super quiet, time and temp are easy to set and change, the trays are easy to clean and not much sticks to them anyway. I'm seriously considering buying another unit, both as a spare and for the extra trays, which I have been unable to find for sale separately. Seriously, this thing is a fraction of the price of a lot of other competitors, has roughly the same volume, fits on my counter better than a round unit ever could, and works beautifully. If I were hard pressed to find something to complain about, I suppose I would say that the power cord could stand to be a bit longer. It's only about three feet long, but extension cords are cheap so it's hardly even worth mentioning. I would highly recommend this product.

Received item as an Xmas gift and unit failed to work out of box, fan works but doesn't generate heat. Reading the manual this can not be corrected by the end user and has to be shipped to manufacturer ... I will NEVER buy this cheaply made in China brand again their quality control is clearly a joke. Unit is made extremely cheap thus this is one of those cases you get what you pay for, I suggest opting for a better manufacturer who takes pride in their product.

Have been running this thing for about 2 weeks straight with no issues. Jerky, fruits, and vegetables all come out great. Recommend.Update- two years later. The dehydrator has been sitting idle since the first seasons use. Pulled it out to use it today and the heat element is dead. I was able to narrow it down with electrical knoedge and a multimeter. Hopefully the part is available.

Worked great for beef jerky.

Bought this to make my beef jerky, it was worth every penny. It is very quiet and spacious. Has a wide range of temperatures to work with, I will try dehydrating fruits.I looked into many options, don't know how you can beat the price for this.
