We Like to Nurse Too

My son loves this book, and loves to tell people that mammals drink their mama's milk :-)My only complaint is that it is a bit flimsy for my toddler (as are all paperback books). I wish it was available as a board book.

LOVE THIS BOOK. WE HAVE "WE LIKE TO NURSE" ALSO AND MY 3 YEAR OLD GRABS THESE TWO TO READ OFTEN. THERE ARE SO FEW BREASTFEEDING BOOKS FOR KIDS THAT I AM ALWAYS THRILLED TO FIND THEM EVEN IF IT IS ANIMALS IN NATURE AND NOT HUMANS SO MUCH.

Any book showing nursing in a positive light will get 5 stars from me. Great for children to understand nursing is a normal activity all animals (yes including us) do.

This book is great to use with children that you want to understand how all babies eat. It arrived fairly fast & for a good price.

Author Mary Young and Illustrator Zachary Parker have come together to create an enjoyable and informative children’s book, “We Like to Nurse Too.” I include “We Like to Nurse Too” in the suggested reading section of Chapter 13: Optimizing Your Children’s Health in my book,  Your Body Can Talk: How to Use Simple Muscle Testing for Health and Well Being .

I love the illustrations of baby animals being nursed by their mothers in diverse marine habitats, especially because the drawings and simple text show how the miracle of breastfeeding works across species. We like to Nurse Too, shows that we humans are part of "The Design" with responsibility to ourselves, to our babies, and to Mother Earth to make the decision to breastfeed our own young.
