Significantly better signal than in built antenna.As the antenna on this can be placed closer to source.Magnet underneath as well so you can just magnetically stick it to any magnetic surface.Definitely worth the cost for better WiFi signal thus faster WiFi.

Used to replace PCIe antennas for a desktop that was not able to maintain a reliable wireless connection. This simply screwed into the existing SMA sockets and worked. Have it mounted on the side of my desk using two screws which holds it in place pretty securely.Able to get speeds around 40Mbps using Virgin Home Hub 2 and 54Mbps PCIe card. Located at either ends of my flat so I'm pleased, did exactly as I wanted. Only downside is it is larger than I thought and not that attractive but does the job well and for the price I couldn't ask for more.

Been using for a week or so, absolutely did what I wanted / expected.I had poor signal strength due to my PC being in the corner of a room - obviously the antenna for the PCI card is at the back of the PC and this was the cause of the poor signal strength.Unscrewed the antennas from the back of the card, screwed the cables in and placed the antenna about 50cm from the back of the PC - now have a strong, stable signal. Nothing else was changed.Very happy with the price and performance.

Not as good as one would have hoped.

I had an issue where i had a really good wifi card but wasn't getting good speeds could only get 300mb/s over wifi. I bought this added it to my PC wifi card and am able to get 800mb/s download with low latency. Just place it closer to your wifi router and make sure to move it to get the best speed possible and do a speed test each time till you find the sweet spot.

I've had this for about a year and through most of it my wifi connection has been really spotty, outright not working at times, now the metal pieces have come off from wires so I can't use it at all, would not reccomend

I recently took delivery of a high end PC but struggled setting it up and downloading software due to the internal wi-fi having difficulty picking up a signal.I quickly realised I needed an antenna, I ordered the Eightwood antenna and it arrived quickly. It was easy to attach to the fittings on my PC case, I fired up the internet and my PC was up and running.Before adding the antenna I had trouble getting a one bar signal, now the signal is at full strength and the wi-fi is working great.An excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to boost a poor signal.

This aerial is about five times larger them my current external wifi aerial, so I was hoping it would make a huge difference. The wifi signal did improve in strength, but only by a few per cent so I was disappointed. Nevertheless I have kept the aerial since even a small improvement is better than nothing and it is fairly cheap.I did manage to get a very strong signal from this aerial if I held it up high in the middle of my office, but that was totally impractical. Perhaps that indicates that the position of the aerial is far more important than the size of the aerial?
