Excellent game. Balderdash means senseless talk or writing; nonsense.That's what the game is about,how well can one bluff. Go ahead and try it. Not ideal for children under 10.

This game is too fun, and you’ll find your family playing it for hours on end. The object of this game is to write a fake yet compelling definition or answer to the clue assigned to the “caller” each turn. It’s a bluffing game, so your primary goal is to get as many people to guess the fake answer or definition you submitted to the caller. The updated version means it has all new data from previous versions.This game is suitable for teens and adults with a vivid imagination and sense of humor. Definitely play Balderdash at dinner parties where there are more than five people. If more than five, you can double up and play with teams of two people. The price is a steal considering all the enjoyment you’re going to receive from playing. Happy bluffing!

Fun for the entire family!!!
I played this game as a kid. The new version with the added uncommon laws, acronyms and famous people adds to the level of play. We enjoy reading the lesser known laws and the oddness of many of them!!!Definitely recommend this game for adults and kids alike!!

Doesn't dissapoint
Got this because I remembered enjoying this game decades ago and it doesn't disappoint. Lots of laughs while attempting to keep a straight face while the definitions are being read aloud. They've added a few new categories since the old purple and black box which are not bad - "Weird words" is still the best though.
