Swiveling TV Wall Mount with Two Shelves (Shelf)

I had been looking for a wall mount for my TV then separately a wall mount for my cable box and DVD player. When searching Amazon, I came across this beauty. No need to install 2 different pieces. On top of that, it hides my wires without running them in the wall! I saved myself the cost of hiring an electrician to do that! Even though I am not the handiest person in the world, this was easy to mount. I only made 2 holes in my wall to find the stud! Not too bad! I did have a friend help with building and hanging the unit, which did not take long at all. The wall plate easily attached to the stud, Then just 2 screws to attach the wall mount. I might recommend running the wires in the channel before hanging on the wall to make it easy to get power cords through, but other than that, simple, and it looks awesome. Very Modern and clean. My TV is a 46" and this mount allows some swivel ability. Not a ton, but better than a flat wall mount. The shelves are pretty thick glass and have no problem holding my equipment. I was able to get rid of the end table, for lack of a better term, that was holding the TV and equipment which cleared up some floor space. I am very happy I found this and consider it a good value.

The other reviews about the wall mount are accurate. The instructions are satisfactory. The unit is great, does the job perfectly and I avoided having to buy shelves to put underneath the TV in order to hold the cable box. It was very easy to put together, and having a helper to mount it is best. The mounting system is simple and easy to use. The only problem was as others reported, the screws that you use to mount the bracket to a wall when using studs are garbage. Come on guys....give us some hex head bolts. They are stronger, go in easier, and are more secure. I had to go out and buy 4 for a total cost of 1.00 retail, and it went in so securely I only had to use two. I am sure if you bought them wholesale, you could get them a lot cheaper and remove a minor annoyance to your customers.

This mount is nice with only exception being the screws and the crossbars. It is kind of cumbersome to assemble. The mounting screws might as well have been made of silly putty. We stripped them all in seconds. Had to wait on installation to buy real screws. You could literally dent them with your teeth. Once embedded in a stud, it took forever to remove Because thed snap off. If you buy this, don't use the mounting screws it comes with as it'll cause more problems in the long run. The second issue is that once the cross bars are set on the mount, there is nothing stopping them from sliding off. Be sure not to push the TV from side to side because it'll just keep sliding until suddenly it's off the mount and on the floor. My hubby is going to rig something up to prevent this, though we're still figuring out how to do it. Other than those two things, we really like the look of thd mount. It is fairly sturdy and took a 60" TV with no problems.

The mount was easily installed and supported the the weight of the TV with no issues. The two shelves were perfect for the DVD player and cable box. I would highly recommend this product.

The stand attaches only at the top and thus the entire base moves with slight movement of either the TV or the components on the shelves. The two metal plates that holds the TV up have flex in them and this is with a TV that weighs 61 lbs. This is unacceptable in a product of this price. I had my TV on a Jestik Velox Ultra-Slim Series Low-Profile Fixed TV Wall Mount Bracket that I paid $15 dollars for and there was no flex or give and the TV felt very secure. The TV does swivel side to side well with this mount and that is the main reason I bought this product, but I would not recommend this to anyone at the price of $85.

came quickly and packaged well. looks good and works as expected. some of the hardware seemed a little light duty but seems to work well.

Sturdy. By the way the mount comes with several different kinds of screws to mount your TV but my TV was smaller 32 inch and it took a 4mm metric screw not what was provided. Looks good. You do need two people to put it together. It's not that heavy but it was hard to balance the mount on the bracket and put the screws in to connect the two pieces by yourself.
