Everytime I shaved my legs I’d get ingrown hairs, after using this product not only are my legs smooth but the ingrown hairs have disappeared. The product has a light exfoliating effect which I think helped remove the ingrowns. The hair also takes longer to grow back than shaving and I’ve found this product to be way cheaper than purchasing razors and razor cream. However beware if you have sensitive skin. Friends I have who have sensitive skin have seriously burned their skin using this product. However, if you have robust skin prone to ingrown this product is amazing.

Bought this for my sister who has not started shaving her legs. You mix with water and apply to hairy area, wait 10 minutes and wipe off with a damp washcloth. NO HAIR! It is perfect for you teens who want to start shaving but it’s a painless alternative. It does smell but does not smell as bad as Nair.

Worked super well on my leg and arm. My face however has a mild chemical burn :o if you end up with a similar predicament, keep it clean, use aloe vera, and just wait and it’ll get better. Don’t ignore it or pick at it, you will get an infection

My first time using this product was a little bit of a mess. I would recommend if you are using this shave method on more than just your face to use a second hand. Trust me, when removing the powder it can be tricky for someone with not the best balance. It will make things a lot easier.Also be be sure to use gloves if you are going to lather it on with your hand. I made the mistake of letting it sit on my hand for longer than I probably should have, and my hand was raw for a few days. It has also made some of the skin peal a little. This stuff is not to be taken lightly. Its pretty powerful. Use a glove of some kind.One last thing. Please be sure and wait the entire 5-7 minutes before removing the powder. This will insure that all the hair will come up. If you take it off too fast, like I did once, you will then have to re-apply. Which caused my skin to feel numb for almost 24 hours. They don't recommend putting on more than one coat per. And I now know why.I gave this product 3 stars, because as it does what its supposed to do, but I wouldn't suggest this as a shaving alternative. Its far too messy/smelly, and the sensation on your skin after using this product can vary from person to person.

Okay so there is a trick to using this product. Absolutely measure. Do not eye ball it. Learned my lesson. Nothing bad happens, it just won’t work or work as well if there isn’t a good water to powder ratio. I am highly prone to ingrown hairs that lead to cysts. I have years of scarring and after using this product for only a few months. I haven’t had a single ingrown hair or cyst sense. This product has literally changed my life. The sent smells of hair removal products while it’s on but after washing it off there is no sent at all. Which to me is absolutely wonderful, because Nair smells for days afterwards. This stuff also leaves my skin super soft like silk. Though do not skip on moisturizing if you live in the desert like me. 10/10 wonderful product.

This product is really effective, but charging people nearly $17 per can is outrageous!!!
