Very good product and outstanding customer service from the seller
Very good product, easy to install, synced and worked very well with my iPhone. I use mapmyride with the product to measure my cadence, and it worked perfectly. After nearly a year of working seamlessly, I started to find that 50% of the time when I went through a cycle the sensor was not picked up by my phone. A couple of weeks later it stopped working altogether, so I changed the battery but it still would not work.I went and looked on Amazon website and noticed that they are so confident with their product, the company gives a good warranty, which I was just still within. They mentioned that they have a very helpful customer service team, so I got in touch, explained the problem and because I'm a bit sceptical, I suspected I might not hear anything, or be told to try this and to try that..To my delight, I got an email back within 24 hours, and without any haggling, they asked for my address so they could send me a replacement. Honestly I was not only really taken back and impressed with the speed with which they responded, but also the fact that there were no ifs or buts or anything, they clearly wanted to resolve the problem for me as quickly and easily as possible, and that's precisely what they did.Within a week, a replacement arrived, and it is working perfectly, and I look forward to once more monitoring my cadence to help me train better. So I would like to say a big thank you to the customer service team, and definitely I would happily buy a product from them again.I'm sure for the majority of people, their product will last a long time, but it is really nice to know that when things do go wrong, the company is genuinely keen to make sure their customers are looked after. That gives great peace of mind!

Bike Sensor With Garmin Instinct
I bought the TAOPE to use on the wheel of my bike. To send a signal of each wheel turn to my Garmin Instinct watch. It is held onto the hub with a large rubber sort of 'O' ring. With the watch on my wrist the TAOPE is nearest to the watch on the front hub, I have used it on the front and rear hub at different times and it will work as well on either wheel. It was simple enough to enter the circumference of the wheel into the parameter setting within the watch. The instructions are within the Garmin Instinct instruction book (pdf).I bought the Garmin Instinct a few months ago. I must say I wasn't aware of all the things I could do with it until I had been wearing/using it for a time.I compared the distance measured on the Garmin Instinct with a regular bike computer and the two devices were within 1 per cent of each other. The TAOPE is easy to fit to the bike and gives good accurate signals.

Garmin Venu doesn't work with this
Firstly I really like this - even though it didn't work for me. It's very easy to install and configure. I have it attached to an exercise bike. The only problem is the connectivity - my Garmin Venu Sq sees the sensor, but doesn't register any data from it. I know it's not the TAOPE as I tried it with the Wahoo app and it worked perfectly ... unfortunately I don't use Wahoo. I tend to use Strava on the phone and it doesn't recognise any Ant+ sensors, so a bit stuffed until a Garmin update comes out which fixes their problem. I know Garmin do their own sensor (a lot more expensive) so I wonder it they're being deliberately protectionist in preventing you using third party sensors?

Instructions not the greatest for connecting to App but it works fine
Wasn't sure about this at 1st and was ready to send it back , instructions are pretty basic doesn't really tell you how to connect to an app, but Youtube is a great thing I was able to connect to Zwift app and it worked fine but I couldn't connect to Strava but I will try it again , when you are connecting to an app you need to be cycling as it goes in sleep mode when you are not using

Early days but works with Garmin/Strava/zswift
Bought this to sync my indoor bike activities to Strava and Garmin as I have a simple bike with no smart computer (bodymax 2 bike)I have my own heart rate monitor and pairing that and this sensor to the Zswift app was very easy (I'm sure it's not 100% accurate but it's main aim is to log my activity and get me using the indoor bike in these cold months)For the price it's worth a punt I'd say, only used it a couple of times as I got it today

top quality cadence sensor
I just use this sensor for the cadence owing to I have a GPS that tells me the speed so I cannot review it about the speed. However this item really deserve a 5 stars and this is why.Previously I had a Garmin to check the cadence, and the reason a had it was because it was is the one that needed less time to transfer the info from the sensor to the GPS. However, this sensor was very expensive.it got broken so I had to buy a new one but and I did not want to spend so much money so I went for this one. So far, it has NONE difference to the Garmin, and I use it every day to commute around 40km.

Accurate and easy to connect
I am using one of these with a Garmin watch for indoor cycling in the winter. So far it has been flawless and is able to monitor cadence or speed. Switching between the two modes is the only criticism as it can be fiddly detaching the battery and reattaching to change between modes, rather than a simple switch.Once configured, it is detected by my Garmin watch automatically, though because there is no power switch, the battery has to be removed after use to prevent the power from being drained.
