Easy Setup, bring 5 bar wifi to the rest of my house/yard
I have medium size house. My linksys EA7300 router (AC 1750) actually did a half decent job covering my house, but the wifi covering is pretty weak in my back yard. And I only gets about 2 bars in some of my upstairs corner rooms. Didn't have too much of a problem with wifi coverage until I bought a new Apple TV 4K and set it up at one of the upstairs rooms. I need improve the wifi signal if I want the full glory of steaming 4K content. I was considering to buy one of those new Mesh Router systems, but didn't want to spend that much money. Here comes the Goodland extender. Super easy to setup. It took me a grand total of 10 minutes from unboxing to have my Apple TV connect to it and start streaming a movie. Plug it in, connect to it via my macbook, change password, connect to my router, change the same ssid to match my existing ones. Done. Followed the instruction print outs and it worked flawlessly. Now I have full bar wifi anywhere in my house, and 3 bar at far end of my backyard.I have been using the repeat for the past week. Having around 10 devices connecting to it during most nights, and having my Apple TV running most of the time. I even tried to stress it by having my ipad and iphone streaming video at the same time. It was up to the tasks. Haven't need to reset or restart it during the week either. Very stable.I would recommend this repeater to anyone who wants to improve their wifi coverage, but is reluctant to spend hundreds on those super charged router or Mesh Wifi System.

I finally have a wi-fi signal in my living room!!!
I have paid $25 to $35 dollars for 3 different wi-fi extenders and none have done a good job on getting through/around the lathe and plaster walls in my old house. My router is at the back of the house and the living room is the front of the house with 2 other bedrooms between. Two extenders didn't get any signal to me, and the third worked with the 2.4G band, but not the 5G band of the wi-fi. I broke down and spent a little more this time, deciding this would be my last try. It works outstanding on both bands! I am so excited to actually be able to use my wi-fi while watching tv in the living room. I only had to plug it in, connect wi-fi to it and put in the password. Then I unplugged it and put it in the middle of the house. It took it from there and has worked perfectly ever since. If this one wears out, I will certainly buy another one!

Easy to install and use Range Extender
Setup was fairly easy. I misinterpreted the included instructions and had to start over once (just did a "factory reset" by pressing a small blunt object into the "reset" switch hole). The instructions are good, not nearly as bad as some Chinese attempts at English instructions, but just a little "stiff". I have WPS turned off on our router so used the web setup, which I like more anyway as you can tell what you are doing. I used an out-of-date browser on my old Android phone to do the setup, and it worked fine - no need to use a computer or latest and greatest phone or tablet. As the review title indicates, I am using it as a range extender. I managed to move the little switch to "Access Point" while plugging it in, which resulted in some setup confusion, but I noticed and set the switch back to "Range Extender" and all was well. The switch is small and easy to move, so take note of its position.I'm not seriously testing the range of this thing. It is used to bolster the WiFi signal to a Roku stick on the back of a TV on the wall of the MBR. The stick was getting a "good" WiFi signal, but would sometimes drop resolution or stall on Netflix (which is all my wife watches on it), resulting in her rearranging everything around the area where the router sits, thinking that was helping. That drove me crazy, so I installed this range extender in an outlet in a closet about half way in between (line of sight might be 40 feet total, with 3 or 4 walls in between, depending on how you count). After setup, all I had to do was go into the Roku setup and swap it to look at the new WiFi signal from the repeater (Range Extender) and it was up to "Excellent" WiFi signal, and working great. The Range Extender itself was showing all signal lights too, so a solid signal all the way. Remember, this wasn't a challenging situation, but one where I wanted NOTHING to interfere with the streaming, triggering a shuffling of books, papers, tools, etc.A tip or two: Don't be tempted to set the SSID of the range extender to be the same as your router. While this can work, and requires no fiddling with the connected devices, you'll find that they have a maddening tendency to lock onto the weakest signal, not the strongest. Go with the altered SSID as the setup defaults, then set up any devices to connect to that SSID, and not the old one, thus giving them no choice. I found that the 2.5 GHz signal had better range and used it (each band has its own SSID). Don't worry about speed or flexibility gains with the other bands for stuff like Netflix streaming. There are several similar-looking devices on Amazon, that appear to be the typical Chinese clones. Who knows which one is more "original" or higher quality, or if they are mere cosmetic variants. I chose this one because it was on some kind of Amazon email flash sale a week or so before Christmas and I saved 25%!!! Its only been in service about a week, but so far seems rock-solid.

Game changer - once you install correctly!
Works great! I had a few issues with set up. Make sure that if you are extending your existing home WiFi that you log on to the site shown on the instructions and follow that process. Make sure you correctly enter your current home WiFi password when requested. There is another option in the instructions to do a simple sync with the router but that just didn’t work at all for me. Once installed it has been a game changer for us. The bedrooms upstairs get a much better signal as does our family room where we mostly steam shows and movies.

easy setup
this wi-fi range extender had easy to read directions, so it was very easy to setup. Just received this yesterday. So far it is working to have wi-fi in the basement and on back porch my router is on the second floor of my house so . So far I would recommend this to anyone who needs a repeater for their home. Sent in my warranty card with my phone and received email today from Goodland. So would say they must have great customer service, but I haven't use it.

Good product 4 extension range but be sure this is the proper device you are needing
The problem with this product is the extension doesn't matter unless you're router and internet speed is running properly anyway in other words do you have an extension that works you need to make sure that your router is running at full speed and capacity there are websites to check your router speed and your Wi-Fi speeds down to the bits per second also as far as extension goes things are reading better but I couldn't guarantee or quote how exactly far much more better it is doing then what it was originally therefore I only gave this products a few Stars not that it's a bad product not that it's unuseful just be wary of what you need and why you're purchasing it
