Appears to be as good as the more expensive brand I am used to.
My DH, fell and broke four ribs this past 4th of July...This and Percogesic were the only pain meds I gave him, with an occasional Boswellia for inflammation.I am severely allergic to any opiates and these are as good as any opiate I have ever used with no side effects, and quick acting to boot. usually working in 10 minutes. Until taking care of my husband this summer, I had no knowledge of their effectiveness on others, however. My son who needs knee replacements and takes oxycodone prescribed for him was hurting when he came to visit and he took 1 capsule and took another with him before he left, just in case...He called me the next day, said he got home about dinner time and was so free of pain he forgot to take his evening pain meds before bed. He woke in the early morning hours, took the second one and went back to sleep. He said he only took them to humor me, (must be why he rolled his eyes when I gave them to him, hmmm?) but could not believe how well they worked.

perfect for complicated migrain sufferers
last summer i was diagnosed by a neurologist with 'complicated migraines.' symptoms were ranging from brutal 3 week long headaches to photophobia and visual snow syndrome.i was prescribed meds but the side effects turned about to make things even worse. the neurologist suggested going the natural route and trying feverfew coupled with magnesium citrate. while it doesn't do much for my optical symptoms, this combo does completely eliminate headaches.sometimes i get the sensation of migraine onset but the headache never comes. just a pressure around my head that last a few hours and then goes away. this usually happens a few times a week.even though it doesn't completely resolve all of my symptoms, i would take it any day over the way things are with out feverfew and definitely over the side effects from the meds i was prescribed.

Potent Feverfew
My neurologist gave me a list of supplements to begin to incorporate into my life to help with my migraines, and I've been slowly adding them one by one so I can watch for side effects/allergies. This feverfew is potent! I added it per my doctor's dosing instructions and the next day had side effects. I thought I would push through and tried again and the next day had asthma issues which I can only tie back to the feverfew. It turns out feverfew is from the ragweed family, and I have a ragweed allergy. This isn't a negative on the product, though. It's actually a positive! It means this product works! It's taken a few days to leave my system, too. This is a great quality supplement. Highly recommend to those without a ragweed allergy.

Feverfew with other supplements are like a miracle cure
I have had at least an average of 25 migraine headaches a month since I was around 14 years old. The medical profession did not have the knowledge or technology of today and the Internet for reserach was not available so finding out information was not as easy as it is today. .My headaches (Migraine, Anxiety, Allergy and Stress) can be incapacitating. I lost many, many many days from school as a child and as an adult from work because of incapacitating migraine headaches. The constant pain, nausea, sensitivitity to light and sound and overall malaise were so common to me,. I lost a couple of jobs along the way because of my headaches. For years I was prescribed Topamax as a preventive , and Imitrex and Relpax as prescriptions to help once a migraine started. However, insurance companies limited the amount of Imitrex and Relpax one person can have in a month which circumvents being able to keep a migraine from incapacitating strength.I began to research supplements. I wanted to find out what I could take that might replace my migraine medication. Topamax does make my hair fall out so my hair has been straggly for years. I hate its texture. I would have handfuls every time I washed my hair. I like pretty hair.I ran across something called Migra Ese that touted help for migraines. It did not help me and was extremely expensive as a supplement. That was when I looked at the ingredients that were included and then further looked at ingredients from all-in-one supplements. The problem with the all-in-one is that there is not a strong enough milligram of anyone of the ingredients to circumvent migraine headaches. The wonderful part, is that separately, there are supplements that totally replace Topamax, and Relpax and I do not need IMitrex most of the time.I found Feverfew, Butterbur, Vitamin B2, Magnesium, Potassium and Turmeric Curcumin with Bioperine have done what prescription medication has never done. My migraines happen maybe two times a month and instead of being a week or two or three at a time, they are maybe four hours at a time. I also occasionally have to supplement the supplements with of all things, Midol Extra Strength Multi Symptom caplets and Equate Severe Allergy and Headache medicine I purchase from Walmart because it is affordable. This combination for anyone else may not work, but it does for me and has been for over six months. I take my Feverfew, Butterbur and Vitamin B2 like clockwork and they help. I take the Turmeric Curcumin with Bioprene, Potassium and Magnesium also like clock work because those three are powerhouse supplements for pain in general that also help offset my chronic pain caused from Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia.

Reduction of number of migraines!
Until I started using this product, I averaged two migraines per week; now I'm down to perhaps two a month. I can stop the migraine by taking an extra capsule when the migraine comes. As far as I know, there are no noticeable side effects with this product, which is also a major plus.

Great results
We keep Feverfew on-hand as a go-to for allergy/asthma flareups. We also utilize Feverfew for periodic headache/migraine relief and menstrual cramps. We have experienced great results with Vitamin Shoppe brand. Thanks so much for a superior product that works!

Same as from the shoppe
Usually pick up at the store, but staying home for now. Nice to be able to order my usual product from amazon. Same bottle as we get at vitamin shoppe, use it to prevent migraines. Everything seems good.
