The Bripe works as advertised, wonderful sip of coffee.
It works well, well made, tastes good. It's like bringing a 20 piece science kit on a hike, isn't sustainable without bringing a can of butane, can only quench a keebler elf, and the plastic straw quits. (Just pull silicone bong tube covers over the remaining tube handle.) Stick to Turkish coffee in the dirt folks. This is novelty for attention seeking hipsters with an audience... which is still better served using a mini butane torch with a cezve pot. It will make a nice gift for a geek, and is a true challenge to prepare while riding a unicycle because sometimes life is better apparently when you complicate simple things.

I hate that I love it
I dont know why I wasted my money on something like this but it's fantastic. It is made well with quality materials. The torch is serviceable but not the best, the thermometer works well enough. My only criticism is that the filter that fits Inside meant to keep the coffee grinds out is very thin and fragile. Easy to misshapen or misplace but if your careful, it works well. It basically brews a very strong espresso shot of coffee. I like to take it camping and either hold it over a flame by the mouth piece or on its stand and stick it right next to some coals for a pick me up shot of caffeine. Easy to rinse out and reload or store away in it's nice little pouch. The pouch is very necessary I would not carry these things loosely in a pack. The pouch keeps it all safe, organized and in one place.

Fun but doesn’t work the best
Fun product but I keep getting grounds in my mouth no matter how careful I am with the filter and placement.

Bought as novelty / gimmick, but turns out I love this thing, and will use it daily
Bought it as a "novelty / gimmick" but It's actually a nice product, that performs as advertised. It's a well made, put together kit that has a small niche use in the coffee market.... just need to add a small vile flask for water to complete it....Watch the video, and don't expect this to replace a cup of coffee, but its great for a quick pick me up few sips at home or on the go. As someone who tests their brews for TDS extraction, I'm pretty picky when it comes to my coffee. I've only had it a few days and have already produced impressive results; considering what it is. Need to experiment more to dial it in, but being its all eyeball measurements, i'm impressed and look forward to seeing what its capable of.ConsThe Price point needs to come down quite a bit...Cleaning it on the go with only a bottle of water isn't all that easy without wasting water... Under the sink is easy tho

Needs better build quality, because I *will* be showing this off
I purchased this as a goof, but having now briped my first bripe, it might just be my new daily driver for caffeination purposes. It makes a lovely little shot of strong coffee--not quite espresso, but very satisfying nonetheless. It looks utterly pretentious and ridiculous, like a steampunk crackpipe, but it's actually quite efficient for making a quick brew with minimal space and weight. It says you can add milk or sugar, but I wouldn't. It's difficult clean the straw beyond just rinsing water through it, and if you're using good beans it'll taste great black anyway. My one real complaint, and the reason for one star off, is build quality. It seems well-designed and durable enough, but this was clearly churned out by two guys in a garage. There's random stray solder on the pipe, chunks out of the cork, and rough mold marks on the mouthpiece. The lighter is functional, but cheap and hard to use--I'll probably end up replacing it. Also, putting the pipe on the *outside* of the packaging means one side of it is covered with tiny dings. For $55 + tax I would have expected better. I hope the garage guys improve their process, because I'll be giving at least one more of these as a gift and showing it to my friends.

I collect pipes and love coffee more than most
My girlfriend got this for me as a gift. I am an avid coffee drinker and I do like to partake in recreational cannabis. I have a collection of really cool, unique pipes. When I received this, I flipped out! Immediately I grabbed some coffee and checked it out.Coffee tastes great. What a unique way to make a shot of basically espresso. I love hiking and camping. I am sure this thing will get used a LOT.I have only had one shot, I did experience some grounds. I do believe it was user error though, the screen did slide around as I made my shot. I'm sure if I am more careful, there will be no grounds. The carrying case is awesome, and fits everything in there. The torch lighter is really nice, but I wish it locked. You have to hold it down for the whole time you are brewing, but hey like I said cannabis is my thing so I have a few torches already laying around. Most of the reviews are calling this "hipser" and I can see that. Maybe they don't like cannabis like I do. This is just another cool pipe for my collection

Bripe torch won’t shut off and leaks fluid constantly
I feel a little scammed here maybe if it came with instructions that would help don’t buy this garbageUnable to return. ups won’t pick it up and ups store won’t take it because it’s suppose to be picked up. WTF!!!!!! 🤬 I’m livid. Now I’m going to be charged for two because they sent me a replacement. And Amazon’s support…. Wait what Amazon support push this button that’s basically have a nice day. What an awful horrible service

Really Cool Gadget! 😃
Not only was this a unique gift, it was simple and fun to operate. It's probably more of a novelty to the "average joe", but it is genius for hiking, backpacking and pretty well any remote adventure you want to pack it for. I gifted it for a survivalist's "go-pack" and he was really intrigued by it. Score!
