Enticing!
Well written, thoughtful and creative descriptions perfectly whet my appetite for our London trip later this year. A gem of a book I feel lucky to have found.

A useful guide - no muzak, but what about echoing walls and floors?
A useful guide and a good size to fit in a bag, satchel or work case. I was looking for something in addition - places that do not echo, for my hearing (and that of many people 60+) is particularly susceptible to that problem. A number of the venues that Siobhan Wall recommends appear to have hard surfaces throughout; I'll test them out when I can, but it would be very helpful if the guide concerned itself lack with overall quietness levels rather than absence of muzak.
