Great resource
I am a graduate student in a clinical psychology program. This book was recommended by my practicum professor. It was so helpful when writing my final case conceptualization. I highly recommend this book as it formatted differently than the newest version.

Clinician Guide
This guide is a great asset for teaching Mind over Mood. Thank you for having it available when I needed it. It was as if I had gotten it new!

More for a clinician than for the actual patient
If I read the title "closer" I wouldn't have bought it, it comes from the perspective of being a clinician instead of being the patient or person who "needs the insight" Although I will read it, as it MAY just surprise me and by telling me stories of each patients situation, I may be able to relate and therefore it could help me more than I am thinking it will right now.........I have only just started reading the book and so far it is interesting and educational. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I am not a clinician, but like I stated above, IT MAY JUST SURPRISE ME TO READ IT FROM THE CLINICIAN'S SIDE VERSUS BEING THE PATIENT. I am hoping that by explaining each of chapters, it will help me better to understand why and what I can do when I get in high anxiety modes

I love how the book gives role play examples between clinician ...
I love how the book gives role play examples between clinician and client. It really helps visualize how situations with a client would play out.

Useful Companion to the Workbook
The Clinician's Guide is a useful companion to the Mind Over Mood workbook. The guide is especially helpful for graduate students and relatively new clinicians, if you are an experienced CBT clinician, this book is not essential, however, like most works there is good information to be gleaned here. Bottom line, the guide is helpful but not essential, simply going through the workbook yourself should provide you with enough practical experience to use the workbook effectively.
