Bold Flavor in a Small Jar
Frontier Organic Berbere Seasoning is incredibly fragrant and packs a punch of bold, complex flavor. Just a small sprinkle transforms dishes with its warm, spicy depth. Itโs potent, so a little goes a long way. It's perfect for stews, meats, or anything that needs a flavor boost. A must have for adventurous cooks.

Wow! This stuff is spicy!
I heard about Berbere on the internet. It said it was a great spice. And I got to admit they were right! It's very spicy and has some heat but delicious! It adds so much flavor to my chili that I don't know what I did before I found it. I'm going to try it in my enchiladas this weekend to see how much flavor it adds to them. I really love this stuff. This company "Frontier" makes some great spices! I'm going to be buying more from them that's for sure! This is a great seasoning and I recommend it to those who like spiciness in their food. Great product two thumbs up and five stars! Gotta love it!

My new favorite healthy seasoning
All healthy ingredients, 13 or so of them. Almost super food type ingredients all mixed up into one perfect spice blend to add to maybe any of your recipes. This with pink Himalayan salt probably can and will go on everything I make. I even Added it onto pineapple and it was good. A must have for me from now on Adds a little spice and herby flavor Edit later on: couple weeks later and itโs empty now. Will order again next time

Great for Roasted Meats and Veggies
Bought this after seeing it recommended on social media. It works great on roasted chicken, wings, beef, and vegetables. Very aromatic, and the heat is mild to medium, just the right kick without being too spicy.

Great Taste, Not 100% Authentic But The Next Best Thing!
My partner and I have grown a fondness for Ethiopian style cuisine, which often requires Berbere. Ever since our local Ethiopian joint went out of business, we've been craving authentic, Ethiopian style dishes. Berbere is an interesting flavor, and it's very difficult to get just right. This does a pretty good job of getting what you're looking for in Ethiopian cooking, and it has a berbere taste. It's got a pinch too much cayenne and it's a little too sweet, but it gets the job done a lot better than most supermarket brand berbere spice blends will. If I were Frontier I'd get rid of some of the cayenne and pump up some of the other ingredients. Seems it's trying to sub for a generic Ethiopian taste by adding that much cayenne. What you want if you want spicy is a spice called Mitmita, which is the go to ingredient for Kitfo. It's also the spice powder you'll have on your dishes at many restaurants. You can even find a bit of it in your injera if they're doing it right. It also uses fresh ground chiles, which is a lot hotter than cayenne! ...Obviously, this isn't authentic berbere, and it has a ton of salt... BUT. If what you're looking for is a nice Ethiopian base, this does it hands down and is very easy to get your hands on. It tastes kind of like berbere, which is more than I can say for most supermarket brand spice blends.

Great Flavour with a bit of heat
One of the better Berbere spice blends I have tried. There's a good balanced flavour with a bit of heat that didn't require any further additions of salt for my tastes.
