Excellent quality
I have had an Aquaforce 1800 in my pond for three years. It performs excellently. No breakdowns, no nothing. It just reliably pumps water from the pond to my Aquascape BioFall for filtering then back out into the pod over the waterfall.Just recently bought an Aquascape 1000 for the same pond, to create a small, fast-running stream that empties into the pond at the opposite end from the waterfall. Like the 1800, the 1000 is easy to set up. It comes with all the fittings you might need to fit any size tubing. Some things to remember:1. This is a pump. It does not filter. You need a separate filter such as the BioFall.2. Use the largest tubing you can to connect the pump to your filter. The use of a small, one-inch tube will restrict water flow. I recommend a minimum of 1.5-inch tube.3. Place the pump in your pond at the end opposite where the water will be returned to the pond. This sets up the best water movement across the pond. For example, in my pond the BioFall waterfall is at one end and the1800 pump which feeds it is in the pond at the other end.

Great pump for the price, didn't work for me
This pump would be good value if you need a big pump in a pond without a lot of debris. My Koi tear up a lot of stuff and the pond is in a garden with lots of stuff that sheds. The holes in this case are large enough to let a lot of this weed-material and stuff into the pump and the impeller got jammed a lot, the last time the motor overheated and I pitched it. It was just too powerful and large for my application, turned out to be too big for my new filter. Smaller pumps from this line work better for me, run for weeks and weeks without jamming...

died 16 months after purchase
The Aquascape pump worked well for a while, then it stopped working completely only 16 months later, very disappointing. I expected more from the Aquascape brand of pumps.

Worked Great for two days and then nothing
I purchased this unit on January 4th, 2021 for Spring projects and used the equipment for the first time last week (March 2-3). The pump, worked as advertised for two days, 6 hours each day, and now nothing. The engine is humming but no water is being drawn out. Working with the company to see if we can find a resolution but this cost me days in trying to complete my projects so far. The website does not do much to help find a ready answer. A lot of money for this level of performance.

Best pump for my application
I have been through several pumps for my waterfall & stream with lots of debris & this one seems the best. Be sure to note gph of pumps at your head height - cheaper pumps with the same nominal gph wimp out at 10 or 15 ft of head distance. Main flaw costing it a star is the weak joint between the two halves the ball feature. It occasionally separates. Another turn or two built into the screw grooves would make it plenty strong. The protective cage is great and sits low. I am still trying to figure out the best way to clear debris from it. Important thing I wish someone had told me years ago: "Always build steps to climb down to the pump!"

Not made to last.
The pump worked great, for less than a year, then the motor burned out and now I have to replace it. I’ll probably go with another company. I purchased it last September and it broke this month (May) but I would think for almost $200, it should work for over a year.

Worked incredibly well for a week
So confused. It only worked for like a week then broke. You can hear motor working but nothings pumping. Really wanted this to work. Money down the drain.

Only lasted 2 days!!
This 5200 GPH unit did not seem to pump as much as the 4500 GPH unit it replaced, then it died after only 2 days. I had company from out of country, then was traveling out of state so was not able to review / debug until now. The 30 day window closed 2 days ago so I guess I'm screwed.

did not connect.
Did not connect to the network. The documentation and manual is lacking on the remote controller, There is no manual on their website about installation of the remote. I found different pieces of information searching for a long time on the internet. On the other hand when I tested it, the force of the pump is good and accessories are provided for every scenario. I expected that the remote is going to be an issue. So far it is not installed and it in the garage until I find out how to use the remote.

Great pump, but not as quiet as I would like
This is a good, powerful pump. I need something that can handle small solids in my pond, and this works great. I also have a smaller version of the same pump, and it has lasted longer than any other pumps I’ve owned. The only thing I don’t like about this larger version is that it is quite loud compared to the smaller unit. Even under water we can hear the hum of the pump.

Powerful water pump.
Awesome pressure. I use this on my man made waterfall. It pumps about 16 feet up from the bottom of the pond. You have to keep the filter screen clean or it will burn out the motor. Ask me how I know?

Great pressure and design
Replaced my old pump with this one which provided enough pressure for our fountain (with waterfall). I like the filter design the helps keep small leaves and debris out which abundantly lands in our fountain.

Nice pump
Was easy to install. Lots of power for our bio filter and spiller.Look forward to seeing how long it lasts as passed pumps have lasted 3-5 years.
