PentairR111626 709 Back Aluminum Algae Brush with Stainless Steel Bristle, 9-Inch

I have a black algae problem in my pool and this brush has worked great. I haven't noticed any of the bristles coming off, so it seems to be pretty sturdy. Now if only I could find an extending pole that didn't collapse on itself so I could brush the deep end of the pool.

Just got my brush 2 hours ago and I went right out to try it on my badly stained concrete pool bottom. WOW! This brush works! For a variety of reasons we had to leave our pool uncovered this past winter. Tons of leaves and landscape debris settled to the bottom which resulted in heavy staining. My nylon pool brush did not even visibly touch the staining. I ran across this stainless bristle brush and, again, wow does it do the job. We were planning on closing the pool early this year to get it repainted because of the staining. Not now. It looks great after just one brushing. Great product

When it worked, it was great…removing algae from the side of my gunite pool. But after about one month of use, a screw fell out and is now not useable. The brush was never abused, just normal brushing of the walls. Not a very sturdy item!I’m hoping the manufacturer can send me a new brush that will last longer than a month. I also have my original, larger brush that has just completed 30 years of service. As the saying goes, “They don’t make them like they used to!”

No complaints other than a little expensive for what It is.

there is no way to attach pole to this. its useless just looks good on picture BEWARE !!!
