Ok ending to a really good saga

“Old Man Logan – End of the World” collects issues #46-50 and Annual #1 of this now terminated series, as the real Wolverine is on his way home. We will continue in “Dead Man Logan”, though.The first two issues are a team-up with Alpha Flight to investigate an alien abduction event in Canada, and the last three are a final showdown with [spoiler], which also explains a bit about alternate timelines and how said villain has been able to get about so much.These are reasonably good issues, the second story being more interesting than the first, which is just a vehicle for Logan to get second and third opinions from Alpha Flight scientists and magicians about his condition, which they confirm is terminal.The final three-part story sees Logan taking care of business in a terminal way. I’m sure some of you will remember Mon-El’s confrontation with the Time Trapper when the original Crisis (and DC’s editors) finally caught up with him, and the panels faded into white; here the temptation is Doom’s time machine, and a blizzard instead of the end of the universe.The Annual is a story set in Logan’s past in the future, if you know what I mean, and Old Man Castle’s last ride.
