Very good. Works perfectly

Bought this a while back and it's just sat in my camera bag. I decided to use last week with the hope of filming with my Canon M50 for a long period of time. I wish I tested this earlier and would have known that this item is just a dead duck - well not quite!Decided to play with this again and realised that you need to lock the battery door for this to work! When the battery door is open not even canon batteries will work!So far working very well.

Tried this power supply/Dummy battery with my Canon EOS M50 both using with plugging it to the wall and using with power bank. Both options seem to work great. Just remember to close the battery door or it won't work. Much cheaper option to official Canon power supply that doesn't even seem to be available anywhere.

I love the design compared to the 700D USB battery, this one actually locks in so there's no need to worry about it falling out of the camera. It's a good length for the cable, good if you have your power bank in your pockets.The packaging could use with a bit less plastic, but other than that it's a nice product, personally a bit pricy but it seems to be the only one I could find. It's sold in the UK but comes with a Thai/Japanese wall charger (which is very convenient for me because my home country is Thailand)

I should have sent this back! Seller's description states the compatibility to my Camera Canon EOS M50. Wrong!!! It does not work on THIS Camera. If you have a different Camera then be sure to ask the seller for a definitive answer as to whether it is compatible! Or do what I should have done in the first place and buy the genuine Canon product. It's expensive but worth it in the long run. Beware, they are in great demand and you might need to wait up to 8 weeks for delivery in the UK

Ich habe diesen Koppler gekauft, weil ich meine EOS M50 als Webcam nutzen möchte und das Original von Canon ziemlich teuer ist. Die Installation ist sehr einfach und ich habe kein Problem mit der Stromversorgung. In einigen Rezessionen ist zu lesen, dass der Akku-Dummy nicht fest in der Kamera sitzt, doch ich konnte dies nicht nachvollziehen. Bei meiner Version ist alles fest im Schacht und nichts wackelt.Man merkt, dass die Verarbeitungsqualität der Materialen nicht die allerbeste ist, aber für den Preis durchaus vertretbar und es funktioniert alles.Wer also einen günstigen Koppler für seine EOS M sucht, dem kann ich dieses Produkt nur empfehlen.

I bought this adapter after quite a bit of research and watching some YouTube reviews. I didn't want to buy something that would cause damage to my camera ...After filming several quite long videos using this adapter I noticed a static hum in the videos that I haven't experienced before. After some trial and error experiments I found out that it was the adapter causing the hum when used with my external microphone. I never had problems with that microphone and when switching back to a regular battery the problem disappeared.So, despite the positive reviews it isn't a product that worked in my studio setting.
