Q: Are they meant to be dry? The look like purple pieces of paper with lavender smell and that's it. They don't look effective at all. Should i wet them?

They are a dry impregnated paper which I agree doesn't look right. I also found they weren't that effective compared with others with blocks inside.

Q: What is the active ingredient?

Read what it says on Amazon it will tell you on there I don't care what the ingredient are just as long as it gets RID of the Insects.Thanku
