Gemco16-Ounce Tall Olive Oil Bottle

This was supposed exactly replace a bottle I had broken, but what I received was a plain, smooth glass bottle without the textured walls as shown in the picture. 2 attempts and 2 products not as represented.

Not as pictured. Instead of the metal flap at the top it came with a plastic put-it-on-each-time-with-your-fingers top. Messyand much less sanitary.

So many bottles exist at so many prices for the simple task of storing and using oil on the go in the kitchen. Olive Oil is a staple and I buy in bulk (not in 55 galllon drums, but close). This makes a classic statement without throwing down the gauntlet of competitive sophistication for guests in my home. Comfortable and secure enough for anyone to grab and go. Flip top is a little rickety but adequate for first time buy. I imagine a device or bottle at double the price would have solved this issue.

I liked the looks of this bottle, so I ordered 2 of them. I immediately could see they are of poor quality. Especially, the stopper tops. The metal ring wouldn't rest on the bottle top and the stopper itself looked like it leak when the bottle is tipped up. I returned them.

Pleased with its appearance, and with the oil, the pattern really pops! The poorer is ok but the bottle is very attractive.

This bottle holds just the right amount of olive oil. I use it every day. Easy to handle design for someone with arthritis. Very pleased with my purchase.

I support all of the other low ranking reviews of this olive oil bottles. The cap is loose and does not seat well at all. Do not be mislead by the picture, as they depict a solid secure cap but is everything else otherwise. The tiny cap that seals the very top did not come with the item. Although the actual rubber/plastic part of the cap itself was designed to have a secure fit when inserting it into the bottle. Presumably, this was to prevent the oil from leaking. However, that is not the issue. The issue is the metal oblong nodule that the oil is supposed to pour from actually seeps out from around the entire aluminum cap which is completely loose wobbling back and forth. If you don't mind cleaning the entire bottle at every use and getting oil all over your hands then you're good to go. Buy it! But, if you're hoping to find something with better quality and little clean up, keep on looking - this is not what you're looking for. I would not recommend this product!
