Installation require a different way. Once I figured out, it wasn't that bad.
To install it, push the springs to the interior. This relieves the tensions on the 4 tabs. The caps should snap on the wheel with minimal effort. Once on, push the springs back so there's tension on the tabs. If you do it this way, you won't break the tabs. I can't say this will for everyone but I was able to do it quickly and easily.Good luck!

They Fit My wheels, after I did one thing
I purchased these in conjunction with the rear dorman wheel covers. At first ( about 4 attempts, while trying not to break tabs) they would not fit. I took a minute and moved them around and looked at my hub. i noticed that they touched slightly. As a whim I pulled out the metal spring ring. Boom they went on and have not come off yet. I'm thinking that the ring adds to much tension. when i installed the secong cover, i just immediately removed the ring and went right on.

Product looks good and fit fine. However; I had to take it off for some maintenance and one of the keeper tabs broke off when putting it back on the second time. It is now loose, I don't know how long it will stay on. Still glad I found it because the OEM no longer makes the product

Looks great, not durable.
The plastic is brittle...two tabs broke off when I tried to install.Updated to 3 stars. Dorman and Amazon were great with return. Product still needs improvement.

Breaks Very Easily
I bought 2 of these center caps for the front wheels of my 1995 F-250. One side I spent a long time lining up the tabs to fit and eventually got it on, however, I had to use a hammer. It is a tight fit, however on the opposite side I was not as lucky. The tabs are made of plastic and WILL break if they are slightly not lined up right. I broke 2 tabs just pushing with my hands. I just recieved another free of charge, but I broke one tab on the new one. Not happy with the design of these, moral of the story be gentle.. and then some

Cheap plastic pieces that are very hard to install on a 1995 F350. Had to use tape for shims to get them to hold tight without rattling.

Looks great very cheap snaps easily
Was installing. it on my Ford F-250 Wasn’t pushing to hard and the back plastic peices snapped. So now it Dosent stay on

It’s junk, breaks before you can get on wheels
