The Coin Counting Book

My grandson loves this.

Gave this to my 6 year old and he loved it. He has been interested in coins ever since. Also, when his teacher discussed counting coins in class he was prepared and excited that he knew the material.

This book is a fun coin counting book. When learning about money, the realistic images and different combinations, my students can count money in no time.I like how this book focuses mainly on coins and how they work with each other.The background of the book is simple and fairly easy to follow along.I have had much success with this book.

I used this book for my preschool class. It's a great teaching tool for kids. Teaches money value. Great for teachers and parents to use as a teaching tool.

I was awaiting service in my bank when I first saw this book. It was intended to amuse children while their parents did business with the banking officer. I wrote down the title and author to keep for future reference. My granddaughter is in kindergarten and I was confident that this book would help her to learn much about counting and handling her own spending money. I also got her a piggie bank and put $1 worth of coins of each denomination and a dollar bill in the bank. She seemed really happy with her gift. In time I will learn whether the gift accomplished the goal of enhancing her math comprehension. I rather think that it will.

This book has to be read to smaller children and children with Special Needs because of the higher grade of words used. Also coin pictures are enlarged so children can notice the detail to differentiate between the types of coins and denominations! I recommend for parents to purchase to work with their own children.
