Caddis Sports Rapid Shelter Canopy

This is not a light weight flimsy canopy. It is heavy duty and built to hold-up / stay-put under windy less than perfect weather conditions.I purchased a 10'x10' with a black canopy, it has a storage bag and comes with some small wire stakes.I have recently returned from a 10-day camping trip which included two sport car endurance races which I was a spectator at. I was able to pack packed canopy in the rear of my 2-door Jeep (with rear seats removed). A bit cumbersome to load in/out of the Jeep but manageable. I also have been able to set-up and take-down the canopy by myself.I have purchased separately (8) 10" spike stakes (2-per leg) to ensure the canopy stays put. Although, the weight of the canopy by itself does provide a lot of stability. For example, a canopy next to mine was blown over in the middle of the night when a thunderstorm with significant wind blew through. I had lowered the Caddis canopy down prior to the the storm and the wind did raise the canopy back up to the top position, but did not move from where it was staked.The only negative is the zipper-pull on the storage bag has broken. I was able to attach a paracord zipper-pull to fix it...Overall, very happy with this purchase.

It worked fine until I used it camping and a rainstorm came up. One quarter of the cloth cover sagged horribly. I thought it was a fluke and ignored it, however the next time I put it up it rained again and the same corner sagged. This time I couldn't keep up with the deluge and it sagged to the point that one corner tore. The canopy was used just four times and is now useless. Sadly Caddis Sports began communicating with me and requested photos, which I sent. I never heard back from them. I could have purchased 5 cheap canopies for what this cost for four uses. Personally I'd avoid.

I purchased this used and it almost looked as if was never setup. The only issue I had were the plastic caps. 2 were cracked (upper corners, 2 of the 4 were cracked). They didn't seem to affect the sturdiness or the setup.So far I've set this up 3 times and all three by myself. Took about 5-10 minutes from the time I pulled it out of the bag until it was setup. I would also get better stakes for this since the ones that come with it are tiny and cheap.

Great cano[y. Does really well in wind. Doesn’t seem to want to take flight nearly as much as some others. Seems very heavy duty.

Bought one back when it was ARS . Same company same canopy. Last one lasted for over 3 years of permanent set up. with years in storage and 60 days or so of camping set up. Just now broke after seattle snow fall. My fault for leaving a aluminum pop up canopy set up in the snow. Great product Owned for about 6 years. Buying my second now

Purchased the 10' x 10' for a Northwest fall/winter/spring that's bound to bring rain. Easy to set up, looks nice, and of solid materials that look like they will last. Very heavy, a two person lift (50 lbs and long). But we don't plan to move it much.

well worth your money

Easy to set up. Much sturdier than most canopies we looked at. We purchased a wall and it helped keep the sun off of most of our campsite. It's heavy, but that is what makes it sturdy.
