Great hold on edges without adding too much moisture. Some edge control is too water base and doesn't work well without using a scarf to tie down but this works great if you don't have time to tie down for extra slickness.

I love this product, it lays my baby hair down flawless & scent is nice very light in fact. It will last a long time and it’s easy to apply. I recommend this product.

Not only is a great product, being free of the bad stuff, but it also smells really good. I like the pomade, the mousse, and the shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't weigh down my hair, and beings that I have fine hair that is a challenge with most products. It also seems to make my hair feel clean and smooth.

There is a wide variety of hair in our household. We have coarse, fine, curly, wavy, thick and thin. Surely this pomade would work for one of us..WHAT IS THIS POMADE LIKE?This pomade comes in a plastic jar which is semi-opaque. You can see the contents of the jar inside. The cap screws off with slick sides of the lid. The contents of the jar smells divine. It is citrusy and fresh smelling. Quite frankly, I love to sit and smell this stuff.HOW DOES IT PERFORM?The pomade itself is the color of mayonnaise (homemade). It is thick and sticky. You are supposed to work it into hair- small amounts. The curls, edges, or tousled look is supposed to stay put and look great. I realize that less is more with this stuff, so I was careful not to apply too much.Let me see:Thin hair- gooey mess, weighed hair down terriblyMedium hair- worked on edges for a bit, but weighed down and looked gloppy.Coarse hair- worked for a few hours, but then looked sticky and awfulCurly coarse hair- went from gorgeous to "OMG what did you put in your hair?"STICKYThis stuff just stays too sticky, it seems. It really does not separate or define like I was hoping it would. Now maybe there is a trick to this. I am willing to learn. So far, however, it is just a gloppy mess that does not hold or look good all day. It is so short lived it just isn't worth itTHE BOTTOM LINEFor divine smelling pomade this is fabulous. If you have experience with pomades and can get this to work, more power to you! For us, it was just a gooey mess and made us all wait in line for the bathroom more often than ever.MY RATINGTwo stars. This pomade is thick and sticky like condensed milk. Since I have short to medium curly hair, I used about a nickel sized worth of the cream. I rubbed it throughout my dry hair as instructed for short locks. If I had long hair, then I would have used it on the ends only as per the directions.The fragrance is incredible; fresh and very citrus / orange. At first I did not like it because my hair felt tacky. However, after using my fingers to fluff out my curls, the pomade dried with a medium hold and it was not sticky any more. I usually do not use any products in my hair and almost never blow dry my locks. However, when needed, this is perfect for an all day hold.Unfortunately, I do not take selfies but I did try to get a picture of my head. The darker pictures are the color with the lighter picture being more of a function of the camera and light in the room. As you can see, my hair looks glossy, curly, and not tacky after using this pomade.

I lost my hair due to chemo and it is trying to grow back. It is coming back curly, which is driving me crazy! I am 68 and have never had curly hair without a perm and I don't know how to deal with this. It is doing what it wants to do, not what I want. When this arrived, it was doing its Bozo the Clown thing, so I immediately put it to use since it said to use on dry hair. I worked a small amount in, as per the directions. I was able to get the errant hair to lie down a bit better. I have always objected to using product because I don't like the way my hair feels using it. I especially don't like stiff. My hair does not feel stiff, but it does feel like I used something. Kind of a waxy feel. Not sure if I like it. Maybe the feel is worth the better control. Maybe I will get used to it. I will try it more before I decide if it is not for me.
