I forgot how great Thorlo’s were….soft and excellent quality…I wear them when I walk, hike, or play tennis. You do need a extra space in your footwear.

These socks are very comfortable to wear. They are soft and pretty, and I like how they retain their shape over time after many washings. Would definitely recommend.

I had low expectations for these, since I have previously bought a couple of other brands of socks to help with my painful feet, resulting in more pain, not less! I have flat, arthritic feet and arthritic hammertoes, with bone spurs in the back of my heels. I cannot believe how these socks lessened my arthritis pain immediately as I walked! The cushioning and softness helps me walk even on hard tile floors without shoes! I couldn't that before without pain! The top and back of each sock protects the joints in my feet! I also wear them in my athletic shoes that have medical grade orthotic inserts. I have waited to write this review until I had worn them for days, washed them, and then had worn them again! I thought they just might be one day wonders, but no, they are still helping me lessen my foot pain, stay mobile and more active! Thank you, thank you! I am ordering more!Caveats--Make sure your shoes have plenty of toe space to accommodate the extra thickness of these socks! You may need to go up an extra half size.Also, these socks run small. So buy up one size when purchasing these socks. In other words, if you are normally a size medium , buy large .

Better than most and closer to a 4 but you can’t rate in betweenGood: very soft high quality material that stands up well laundering. Thick holds shape BUTNot so good: the socks do stretch a little and for feet on the small end, they fall outside the size range for my feet once worn. They stretch a little and stay that way and I get excess sticking out or bunching up so the size is a problem. It’s common and hard to find socks that fit a size 6. Children’s socks may fit but never have the same qualities as adult socks and usually are just shapeless thinner variations. Brands hat offer sizing for small adult feet are usually more expensive for similar quality or are some limited variety that don’t meet all the criteria I am looking for or colors are odd or material is synthetic junk and end up in my unhappy purchase pile. Socks are my challenge and yet I seek out on an endless quest among others for this elusive unicorn with lots of false claims and hype over another disappointing claim. Still when I do find one perfect pair and have joy and glory in my find I can no longer locate that where I found it nor able to locate any additional on the face of he earth despite a lot of effort to do so. I would buy 1000 if I was able to find that sock but until then I continue onward

I love these Thorlo socks. They have the right amount of cushioning for use in my aerobic classes. They wash well and keep their shape in all kinds of activity. I recommend these socks for those of us who need protective wear for exercise!

These socks were recommended to me by a foot doctor. I am a nurse and at the time was on my feet 8 hours a night. My feet were killing me ! These socks saved me. They are like walking on marshmallow clouds.They also last a really, really long time before any spots get worn down.These socks would be great if you’re running a marathon as well. Your feet will never hurt !

First, the mediums run very small. Then they shrunk when I washed them, and the elastic at the top pulled in two socks. I’ve had Thorlo socks that have lasted years and always deemed them worth the cost. Not anymore

I have been having a problem finding a sock thick enough to protect the hammer toes on both feet, plus one very crooked middle toe on the right foot. All caused by wearing shoes far smaller than required which I'm paying for in my senior years!I read the reviews, as well as the description of the sock (reduce blisters was #1) & felt these would 'hopefully' resolve those issues & I can say they have surprised me!The sock fits true to size, they are well padded in the toe & heel area, there is support in the arch which seems to help with some of the pain I experience because of my extremely high arch & best of all the extra padding underneath the toes seems to prevent blisters on the hammer toes of each foot. I also like the fact that this sock doesn't bunch up when I'm walking, which is a blessing. Especially since I had to order a walking shoe that was a full size larger than normal so the toe box gave the room needed for the way my toes spread. Yep... Weird feet indeed.The socks have been washed several times & are always air dried. There has been no shrinkage, but piling is becoming noticeable which is why I swap them out with the Thorlo Unisex Distance Runner set I purchased around the same time (not a big fan of this sock). Although I far prefer the Distance Walker because it seems denser & protects my feet much, much better. I've actually gotten hammer toe blisters wearing the Distance Runner because it seems to bunch under the toes.Since I walk an average of 2 to 3 miles a day I'm hoping there is some longevity in this sock because of the cost. I did actually just purchase another pair because I like them so much.No cons, All pros. Would recommend them to anybody who does a lot of walking...

My wife loved these socks. She found the extra padding helped her feet stay comfortable for hours of pickleball play.

Love the socks and wonderful padding for heal and front of my feet. I ordered the M for my shoe size 8 but the sock would barely cover my heel so I returned them for size L and the fit perfectly. Very happy with them & so comfy on my feet.Update: I bought 3 pairs = 6 socks, 4 of the socks are wonderful, comfortable and stay up on my ankle but 2 of them the ankle is too loose so it slips into my shoe when walking.

Stop my sole sore/hurt problem. Durable. The sole stays on the heel.
