Gourmet Ghosts - Los Angeles

Fascinating history
This kindle edition was impressive and it kept my interest. I never knew these locations had such a haunted history, there were some I never heard of and others I am very familiar with. I currently live in Northern California but wouldn't mind going to the Los Angeles area to experience these places for myself, it even includes the addresses of where they are. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants to try something different in the way of restaurants, bars, and places of lodging. An excellent go to guide

Fascinating look at the ghost stories haunting LA's restaurants, hotels and bars. I was living in LA at the time so it was extra interesting to read about places I knew or could find. The author is very passionate about this and it comes through so it's exciting to read. Thumbs up.

Fun read.
Fun read for anyone growing up in the area. I have been to a few of the places written about and have heard some of the stories before. The author does a good job reminding us of places of such mystery while at the same time keeping it current. I can see this becoming a series. Lots of spelling errors, that bugged me.

Great guide to haunted LA
Great guide to haunted LA. The table of contents set-up is a little weird, but it still has comprehensive information that is fascinating.

Ok book
This book is not as interesting as implied. It’s kind of just a page filler with a bunch of uninteresting facts.

Great October reading!
Great little tidbits about odd things at famous hangouts. Who knows if any of this is real, but it's still fun.

Brilliant ghost stories...
I enjoy a good ghost story, however, I enjoy a 'real life' ghost story more - and this book has all the ingredients to keep you reading with a slight chill down your spine. I've never been to LA but honestly, you don't need to, I found just reading about the restaurants and the history they have absolutely fascinating. Well written and a book I was able to pick up and read when I wanted, it is a light read as each restaurant has its own chapter. When I finally get to LA then I plan a little ghost hunting with some great food and happy hours thrown in :)
