A beautiful treasure of immense significance for my soul
The first few pages draws my attention to the way of life which I must practice --possessing an interior heaven full with The Radiant Trinity, I am never alone anymore! I felt the Holy Spirit's reach far into my mind and heart and my eyes lit up with tears of joy. The entire book is an easy read with theology made simple. Five plus stars

Elizabeth harvested!
This centenary series of the Complete Works is a major accomplishment. Volume I ('I Have Found God') goes right to the heart of Elizabeth's mystical vocation with a positively riveting General Introduction by Conrad De Meester, O.C. D., followed by a brilliant translation of Elizabeth's writings by Alethia Kane. Elizabeth's four major spiritual treatises being written in the last three months of her life, it's difficult to go anywhere but to the distinct heart of her message. I doubt that I've ever read a more enlightened essay on Elizabeth than De Meester's. If you look to understand who this woman was, read his perfect Introduction; taken together with a brief biography, he produces an ancient Elizabeth in an essential light. His appreciation burns with real insight into an obscured message and an authentic modern mystic. Kane leaves Elizabeth's voice alone, as other translators have not, making Kane's courageous, and ultimately peerless contribution the more valuable by leagues. Highest recommendation for Vols. I & II-- it's a champion series.

Lovely Bio, but Dated
It was not particularly inspiring, and I thought amazingly Pre-Vatican-II which I found problematic. Many of the much older saints' writings (John of the Cross, Catherine of Siena, Teresa of Avila) which were written well-before Vatican II as well--transcended time and spoke clearly to me with their beautiful spirituality. Also, many pre-Vatican-II writers such as Teilhard de Chardin and Thomas Merton speak to me deeply even now and connect with my own lived experience. I was sorry that I found this book a little jarring.

A saint's prayers and lessons
Volume I is a collection of Elizabeth of the Trinity's prayers, retreats and teachings. It contains her well-known Prayer To The Trinity. I was amazed to learn that St. Elizabeth of the Trinity was such a prolific writer during her short life. I plan to read Volume 2. Excellent book!

My heart is singing!
St. Elizabeth is a vessel of wisdom. She clearly, at 26 years old, had completed the Work of God. She is a praise of His Glory!

Exactly what I was looking for
I love Elizabeth! Such amazing wisdom from one so young. I have listened to segments of her works with Dr. Anthony Lilles on the Discerning Hearts app and wanted to see the words in print. This book has it all in one place. Perfect.
