I'm a Browning gun guy. My dad gave me my first gun when i was in third grade. it was a 20 gauge Auto 5, and i was hooked. 45 years later I'm still hunting with that gun (among others). Regardless of your preference in firearms, John Browning's "fingerprint's" are on all of them. When our country needed a certain firearm, they asked him, and he delivered. This is a very good DVD, but it only scratches the surface. The History Channel should do a several hour/night presentation of his genius.

This is a concise documentary about the life of John Moses Browning, the most brilliant and prolific inventor in the history of gun making. Most of his designs are still being manufactured today, in one form or another, a century after he invented them. I must have for the gun aficionado.

I have a lots of books about John M Browning and this DVD is a good summary I can share with people who won't take the time to read but still want to know something about him and his genius.

John M. Browning was no doubt the worlds most prolific and forward thinking firearms inventor in history.... his weapons changed the course of world history in their use in WW I, WW II, Korea, Viet Nam, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan... some of them are still in use today

Great documentary ! I did not know that John Browning had invented so many guns and for what companies ! We most probably would have lost WW I an WW II without his weapons !

This is outstanding documentary!! This show gives Viewer a excellent history of the john Browning legacy in United States miltary and civilian gun development.
