AP World History: An Essential Coursebook, 4th ed

I am using this book to help my homeschooled 9th grader study world history. He prefers a clean page layout and plain text over the cluttered and colorful layouts of most current textbooks. The language is simple and straightforward and easy to understand. I don't know if he will attempt the AP test, but he will at least be getting a solid, secular high school world history course. We are supplementing with Crash Course videos paired with the relevant chapters in the text.

Using this for homeschooling. My son is in 9th grade. Lots of information delivered directly without a lot of fluff.

The AP World History Class is probably the hardest AP class offered. This book has practice questions for each unit. Student needs to read and highlight in this book.
