When you look at this on the table it does give the impression of moving water I have used it three times, once for a beach setting with shells etc and 2nd time for a Prince Phillip tribute with navy anchor napkins shells and anchor confetti, the third time it was used to drape around an easel for a titanic event, it is fluid not stiff but still strong you can’t really see through it which is why I haven’t answered the sheer question. I will be able to use it again it is good value for money and does look great.

This product was exactly what I was searching for; 😒however I couldn't use them for purpose (for Restaurant Tables)...as I only took them out of the packaging; an hour before we were eating...& they smelt horribly of the plastic, (I dread to think what toxins are in the plastic!). And NO...I really didn't think of 'Airing' them before use!🥴! So I guess ok as a product(for Artwork for Kidz...)but I actually ended up getting 'Cheesecloth Runners' at the last minute; which were much better for purpose & were aesthetically better! Nice pattern, bright and ideal for my Under the Sea theme in school. However, it is very thin, and I've already put a hole through it with my finger whilst placing it on the table.

I have to admit that I didn't buy this as a table cover, nor as a table cloth! When I saw this I bought immediately for my hobby - wargaming with miniature figures and model ships - purely because it's coloured as a sea-scape, and the price was a snip!

This was used in our care home to create a beach scene. Very successful. Waves look realistic .

So this is PERFECT for what I need as a backdrop for my products (lightin jellyfish check out katiejoartsy on Etsy 😉) the print and color is beautiful. FYI this is pretty thin. Perfect for parties but it’s not going to be something you have for years. It’s similar to a nice garbage bag plastic. Durablish but still not something you can use over and over. I’m buying three more to use as backdrops for my store online!
