Forever (Baxter Family Drama--Firstborn Series)

This book was the last in this series. It was incredible. I was fortunate to discover Karen Kingsbury at a time where I could read this series of books back to back and didn't have to wait for #5 to be released. Now I find out that the Baker Family novels will be continued in another series of books. YEAH! I love Karen Kingsbury. Her novels are full of God's word and truth. Her stories mirror real life situations. We can all relate to these family love stories as well as family tragedies. The Bakers are now a permanent part of my family. I love they way this one ended and can't wait to read more. 5 ***** for this book

I love this series. There were times when I wanted to strangle Luke and Dayne for that matter. I knew it would all work out in the end. I love the way you have kept the characters true to themselves. Katy's undying love for Dayne was beautiful. Many people would have listened to the doctors and gone home and continued to pray, but not her. All of their faith is a model we should all follow. This family is so blessed so many times. They let their love show in what they pulled together to get the house ready. A whole community showed Dayne that he belonged. I loved this book and have started the next series. Can't wait to see them get married. Thanks for another wonderful book full of inspiration to live by in our lives every day!

I really enjoyed the books. I never heard of the author until a friend told me about her. I went and got the books for Series 1 and downloaded Series 2 books on my Kindle Fire. Everyone of the books left you wondering what was going to happen next. They were christian books which I love reading christian books. Everything seemed real. The books are so addictive I just couldn't put them down. I was reading everyday. I wasn't getting any housework done for reading these book. I thought my husband and son were going to put me out because I was busy reading and doing very little of anything else. So I just had to take a break from the next series of books. I will be brave again to start on the next series but it will be in the fall maybe. I enjoyed them all.

Anyone who has ever read any of Karens books knows that there is no other writer in this day and age that hits every emotion that we all go through in this life, in our own search for why we are here, who we are, and the battles that can and do happen in this life. The number one moral is that Gods Love and our love for others is the strength to keep us all carrying on in this journey in life. There is hope in all of her books. It is such a "blessing" to read a book, that everyone whether a believer or not in God who touches our lives in everyday situations with family and friends. There is not one of her books that I have ever been disappointed in. Once you read one of her books you will be "hooked" and can't wait to read the next one. Seagull <>< Las Vegas, NV

From the first Karen Kingsbury Book (Tuesday Morning)I knew I would really enjoy this author. I've read her Redemption Series and now have completed the Firstborn Series. This book was very good because it brought all the characters together throughout the book. I enjoyed how Katie stood by her man throughout his ordeal in this book (don't want to give anything away!), how the CKT Kids and family and friends of Dayne and Katie came together in a big way to help them. I also liked how Karen weaved in realization and healing for Ashley in her dealings with her father's friend and with Luke and his feelings about Dayne. Karen also focuses on Bailey Flanigan and her family. I'm sure that is because of her Sunrise Series that is a spin off of the Firstborn Series. I can't wait to read those. I have A LOT more of Karen's books to read and I look forward to it. Happy Reading!

I love this book! I love the series. I don't want it to end. I feel like I am getting to know the Baxter family. And I can't wait to see what's in store for them in their future. These books are so inspirational and have great life lessons that I see myself applying to my own life all the time. Thank u Karen Kingsbury for letting God work through u in these books.

I loved this final book in the Firstborn series. Karen Kingsbury is an amazing story teller. She builds each character slowly until you feel that you know them personally by the end of the book! Though she manages to finish the series so that there is a feeling of closure, she leaves you with the desire to continue sharing in their lives. I highly recommend the whole series!

This series kept me interested from the beginning. Kingsbury tells the story of the joys and tragedies that happen to in many families from family squables to horrible accidents to cancer to births, deaths and other experiences in the course if living. They are Christians and to some degree stumble their way back to the roots of faith taught by the parents - who have their own struggles. This last book is the perfect ending to their story.

I love Karen Kingsbury books. Great story lines. Keeps me wanting to pick the book up to read until I finish it all.

This is the 5th book of this particular series. As always, Karen Kingsbury is a brilliant writer and always manages to keep you interested right to the last page. Each of the books in this series are beautifully written. They are easy reading, but also written with a depth that enables you to learn something from each story. Well worth the purchase.

I have really loved reading about the Baxters, the twists and how they handles the roadblocks in life.

a must read, but I also recommend that you read all the series from the Baxter's series as it helps to know the characters and to see what they have been through but man this book was great :)

Met my expectations with Karen's writing - always enjoyable, with some suspense and the intermingling of Christianity. I have enjoyed all of her works I've read. To me, it is suitable to young and 'old' adults adults.
