I ordered this item because I was intrigued by the concept. I have two cats and two litter boxes. They are located in the basement so they are out of sight, and my kids and I share the responsibility of checking the boxes a couple of times a day to make sure they are staying clean so we don't encounter bad cat behavior. We use a regular plastic scoop and place the litter clumps in a plastic shopping bag that is immediately taken outside to our garbage tote. I had my doubts that this scooper would make that process much easier, and I was right. The tool works as described, but it's simply too large - while at the same time being too small. Because it is larger and boxy unlike a regular scoop, I found the unit difficult to maneuver in the litter box - especially in corners where my cats tend to pee and I sometimes have to make sure to scrape around. On the other hand, the litter collection box seems large enough - but it's not. The first day out of the box I had to change the baggie in the collection box 4 times. Cool idea, but not worth the extra time it takes to maneuver the thing in the box and all of the bag changing. I'm going to stick to the old method.

To be fair our cat is around 14 pounds (maybe more) and he produces a lot of waste. I was excited to receive this scooper because I hate bringing the trash can into the back room to dump dirty litter. Well, the Neater Scooper is cute and looks nifty with its little bag attached. The problem is I made two scoops and filled the thing up. To clean a box that had been cleaned about 48 hours earlier took three bags. So, in theory, this scooper could work well for someone with a dainty cat but not for our big guy. Oh well.

The only issue is the box part of the scooper being too large its hard to scoop all the chunks out. Easy fix though. I use a regular scooper to loosen the mess and bring it to the top. I dont mind it. Id still recommend it.

I would head the reviews before buying this period it seems a lot of people think this scoop is too small and a lot of people think it's too big. I guess it's kind of both. It is a larger size scoop but I have been using it on both my jumbo cat litter pans and my smaller 1. You do have to angle it differently. Are usually use one bag A-day. I clean the litter everyday and I have 1 grown cat and one 5 month old kitten.I I usually fill one bag everydayUpdate:The flap kept falling off and now won't stay on. It works without it, but you have to be careful.UPDATE:The whole thing fell apart after a couple months

In theory this is a good idea. In practice I had the following issues:1. You must have a large enough pan in order to make the entire unit fit in it to use the scoop.2. The unit fills up quickly and the door does not close if more than half full as the door is in the way. That is wasted bag space.Other than those two things, it is easy to squeeze the bottom to remove the scoop and the bags are easy to insert and remove.I have resorted to not using the scoop and using just the container and as luck would have it, the rolls of doggie bags fit it perfectly. Not with the handles of course but they are easy enough to tie off.

I like it very much. But it should come with “holding stand”. Keep this scooper upside down so lid stay closed. I’d recommend it. But I want some improvement !

Just had my Neater Scooper for a week but loved it from day one. We also use Pretty Litter and only have to scoop the poop so the Neater Scooper is just the right size. The bag is large enough to hold several days poop from two cats, because I don't have to pick up urine, and by laying the scooper down it keeps the door closed to the bag, so no problem with smell. That makes it better for having to use plastic to put in the garbage. I just wish there was a bio-degradable bag to use. But! 5 Stars easily for the Neater Scooper.

Would highly recommend for a single cat household! It’s an awesome tool and very convenient. The only thing is because of its size, you have to clean the litter box every day because the tub can only hold 1 days worth of waste for 1 cat. I would also recommend using dog waste bags that you can get at any local store rather than the Neater brand bags. They hold more, are cheaper, and you don’t have to buy them online. Would definitely recommend altogether! I love it.

I bought this because my cat's been having tummy troubles so I had to move the litter box into the bathroom (faster access), but didn't want to keep the waste bin in there too; so I use the scooper to remove waste then bring it into the bin I have in the garage. The Neater Scooper works very well for this purpose. Quick and easy, not messy. The scoop sometimes catches more litter than necessary, but overall I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Makes scooping cat poop and pee so much easier, and less mess than anything I have come across. the container is small, so if you have multiple cats, might be easier to do it daily with this than wait for a few days as you can use up several bags to do one bin.

The bag inside falls, hard to empty and not suitable for its intended job..
