Great classic design.
I use a mechanical pencil at work all day every day. I broke my P207 and decided to get the complete set. While i find myself usually only ever using the P207 still, i am glad i have the other options. Quality is great and i use the P207 A LOT.

Excellent set of pencils
I have a few of these Pentel mechanical pencils and always liked the feel. I got this set to augment my drawing set, labeling each with the type of lead inside. Excellent set of pencils.

Sweet spot for value with a very long lifetime
I've had one of these for over ten years. There are much more expensive pencils with marginally better performance or exotic features but they're not worth it unless you want to be 𝑓𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑦. These will last you for as long as you need them to.The plastic grip feels fine and the eraser refills are good which I don't take for granted.I've shortened one to fit a memo pad by just cutting the back end off.

The gold standard?
Pentel I understand is the gold standard for mechanical pencils (I used one in college 45 years ago for drawing and note taking). I have recently started drawing again and bought the set to see what lead diameter I liked best. Some people have complained these are (now) much more cheaply made than back in the day, but for me they work well enough. I do prefer them to some off-brand ones I recently purchased so I have no regrets.
