Victoria Park Toile Tailored Valence Window Curtain, Blue

Bought a pair for a west double window in upstairs guest bedroom. Between western exposure and neighbors' porch light and nearby street light, this window needs more protection than the blinds alone provide. Even with lined curtains and blackout curtain liners [which help A LOT] light still came over the top of the rods. A blackout valance? WIN. Only issue is that the bottom tier is not the tiny check shown but simply the same solid burgundy as in the print. That works well enough in the room with all the colors already there but if you wanted that other sort-of-rust color a whole lot, at least on my order it's not there.

The fabric is good quality and the toile print is on point. You do need to order the plastic inner and hooks separately so don’t forget that. I love this curtain and will order it again. You could even use this fabric for pillows if you wanted, it is nice and thick, feels like linnen.

Sounds silly to say this about a shower curtain, but this is actually one of my favorite purchases ever!There's just something aboutthe blue ccolor and the country scene I find very relaxing to look at.The material is nice and thick, but I use a plastic liner curtain so I haven't had to wash it in the 1 year I've owned it. I actually liked the shower curtain so much, I got one of the window curtains and found it has the same civilizing and soothing effect on my living toom.However I think the first one I got must have faded in just 6 months in a sunny window! I just got a second one for another window and the blue is a darker and bolder than the first one. Normally I'd blame that on the intense sun we get here in LA and the fact that this particular window gets lot of sun, but I got the first one in November and we had an unusually rainy Winter followed by a cool and cloudy Spring.So either these fade vquickly in the sun if you don't put a protective backing on them, or some of them have a darker color of blue than others.By the way, their width of 34 inches across is fine for a normal-sized window, but won't completely cover some larlger ones. But I really do like these curtains overall...

I'm redecorating a guest room, I already had the toile valance. I was very pleased to find these shames in an almost matching scene. The valance is black and cream, so I just crossed my fingers for the shames. They came and were very white compared to the valance, so I took the chance and attempted a coffee stain to get them to match. Yay! success, it worked and I am so pleased with this make over. I love these shams and the addition they made to this room. They are well made, fit a standard size pillow.

I am a HUGE “Toile Girl” and this product did not disappoint! The colors and weight of the fabric are quite luxurious. I would’ve paid a good deal more for this. It’s making the whole decor of my bathroom!

Would buy again, well made and exactlyAs described.

The color is not as blue as pictured & 2 panels together are less than 64 inches. They are pretty and a great material so I am giving them 4 stars but I really wanted a blue like the picture is.
