Cord is short but works

Do not buy to use with your Home Patrol 2. Just arrived minutes ago, plugged it into the way and got a message on my Home Patrol that is was a low power usb and that I needed a high powered one to use the scanner and charge at the same time.I bought this thinking it would charge faster than the charging cable that came with it and using my Ipad charging block. Not the case.
