This book is very informative, with loads of pictures. I highly recommend if you're interested in creating terrarium's and miniature landscape's.

I have been trying my hand at some mini Bonsai and this book is a wonderful inspiration! It has very nice photos that are sharp and clear with clean backgrounds! I also find it is a great book to keep on my bedside table as looking through it at night helps me feel happy and calm. Just the right mood to be in for a good night's sleep.

Book is a great guide to planting tabletop gardens; detailed instructions and photos. However, cover looks like it was slashed with a utility knife (both the dust jacket and bound cover). Condition was supposed to be like new. Seller promptly refunded my payment but I'm glad it wasn't supposed to be a gift.

If you're interested in creating small tabletop landscapes or miniature bonsai gardens for indoors or out this is the best book to get. It's beautifully illustrated with photos throughout and you're given all the information you need on what soils, tools and bowls or earthenware plates are required and then how to maintain your finished designs. The author has even provided inspirational photos to help in creating the gardens. Well worth buying.
