Works like a charm, used with PS2, Seagate 2TB drive & FHDB.

It is meant to connect a 3.5inch SATA hard-disk to the PS2 console (fat version), using the expansion bay port. It does just that, without issues. It also looks like the OEM counterpart that allowed only IDE hard-disk drives (but offered network ports).For the next iteration of the product, I would like to see the following improvements:1. completely metal screws instead of metal screws with plastic heads (I am using a screwdriver to loosen/tighten them which will damage the screw heads over time)2. some form of thin support brackets for the the hard-disk drives, so that the drive is not held only by the SATA connection ports3. LAN functionality, or at least, remove the dummy Ethernet port from the back of the unit (it comes with a bright yellow sticker over it, clearly saying that the Ethernet port is no functional)4. some form of lever that would facilitate the removal of the adapterThese are minor things, though. The product is good and works as advertised.

This is a great product, it works as intended for running games from a Hard Drive

Superb purchase. It allows my Adata 240Gb SSD to install my games.I can get all games on the one drive then put the physical away to storage.

Works perfectly nice to use a sata disk with the ps2 as it is so much faster for loading backups with pc than ide or with the ps2 itself. And bogger disk s are cheaper in sata than ide.The crews arent as well aligned so there is a little tension on the plastice but not enough im concerned. Might be my PlayStation i only have one to check ot with.

Fits perfectly and works great. Stored all complete game collection on the harddrive and with use of the adaptor I no longer need to keep my entire PS2 collection out, they're all stored away. More space made which keeps the wife .

Perfect. Works exactly as it should, build quality feels a bit cheap, but once it’s plugged in, you won’t notice that. Excellent value for money.

This item is NOT a network adaptor. It's a HDD adaptor. This item can not be linked into a network as the network plug is fake. As it didn't say anything about this in the description the item name is really misleading. Apart from that works as a HDD adaptor.
