Color printers are a big pain because they are always running out of ink - one color, then a day later another color and on and on it goes. This Brother black and white printer is soooooo much less hassle I LOVE it so much that I bought a second one for a different property. Occasionally I want something in color but most of the time black and white is perfectly fine. If you want a printer that is hassle free buy this one.I don't know about Tech support because I have never needed it. I tell you it is hassle free.

Bought this for quick delivery end of July. Window to return closed end of August. Mid October spent $150 to a composter repair service to reset the wireless so it would print. Two weeks later, it says to replace the toner, which I did and it keeps telling me to replace the toner. I even watched a video and I did everything correct and it won't take it and won't print. I have wasted a lot of money on this terrible product and now have to buy another printer but it won't be through Amazon.

When it works, it produces a pretty nice product. However, between the printer not wanting to wake up after it enters "Deep Sleep", and difficulties with wireless connections between it and my devices, I am ready to drop kick this printer out of my life.

This printer is very difficult to set up. It has minimal buttons and they don't match the ones on the instructions. When it asks you yes or no, you have to choose between up and down. You'd think yes would be up, but nothing works. After a lot of pushing random buttons, it will sometimes suddenly print. When it does, the quality is excellent. I just had to put a new toner cartridge in it after less than 100 pages, and it hasn't printed since. It will wake from sleep mode if you turn it on again, and that's the only thing it reliably does. That and use all your paper and toner printing 3-page error messages constantly. I'm going to donate it to someone who has more time and more sense of humor and less work to get done.

well made easy to set and use

I currently sit here with my Brother printer stuck in Sleep mode. I am combing the Web for a solution. I'll probably find one eventually, but why should I have to? It's an electronic device! You turn it off, you turn it on. And maybe change the toner and clean it, but that. Is. It. Why after using it most of the day has it decided to sleep and not print anymore?Oh, and the fumes are terrible.
