Q: How long does it take for Craspedia to go from planted seed to full bloom (in average soil and weather conditions)?

Howdy, Tyler! Out here in Coastal Southern California (zone 10b), I planted several Craspedia globosa seeds last December (2015) and the first "lollipop" bloomed a little over 2 weeks ago, just in time for Mother's Day. It was my first-ever attempt to grow them, so I was willing to wait. And, as such, I only know from this particular experience in my climate. I honestly don't know how their seed-to-bloom time span is generally predicted or "supposed" to be. They really are unique, though. For me, they're definitely worth trying. I hope this info helps at least a little. Happy gardening!!

Q: Can i purchase these now and grow them in Spring 2021?

You can surely try... Although, I don't know if you'll get seeds from this past growing season or from the season prior. You may want to contact the seller to find which seed lot yours would be from. All this said I have grown seed from a previous year's allotment without a drastic drop in germination rate. It truly is worth a try!! I love these guys!! In the end, I suppose your specific conditions/factors would determine what you end up doing. Best wishes!!!

It's a hardy perennial in USDA zones 10 and higher because it's native to warm parts of Australia. For USDA zones lower than 10, treat it as an annual.
