Students learn and love it!
We utilize this curriculum in our school and really like the many hands-on experiments and projects for the students. It allows us to use one curriculum in a multi-level classroom rather than having to write multiple lesson plans. I would highly recommend AIG to anyone looking for a great science curricula with a Godly foundation.**My younger students are really picking up on the concepts of animal life science. I have not seen this with other curricula.

Great!
Very good for homeschooling or just reading every now and then. Great "special feature" sections. I am learning a lot too.

I use this in conjunction with God’S design for life. It has been a great experience.

Answers in Genesis
This book is okay, great for a quick, fast science lesson. It just does not offer the hearty science experiments that I would like. It's decent for my older two (5th and 3rd graders) but not really for my first grader, who prefers more hands on.

A Great Learning Tool... for Science lovers
As homeschoolers, we used this book for part of our life science curriculum because we loved its companion, "The World of Plants" so much. Don't misjudge the 3 of 5 start rating, it was, overall a great book. We truly enjoyed the interesting facts and easy to read and teach text, as well as the projects. However, being a bit above average in the area of zoology, my child and I noticed that the terms poisonous and venomous are used interchangeably within the text, which I find unacceptable for a science book. "The most feared snakes are venomous or poisonous snakes." We know the difference, but not everyone does and it is an important distinction. I also found the text on sponges to be quickly glazed over and lacking in clarity.Overall, it was a wonderful tool in teaching about animals, despite a few issues and I would still recommend this series of books to other homeschool parents. It would also be a nice guide for kids who just love animals and science. Although the series is creation based, I feel they do an excellent job of explaining, rather than degrading evolution versus creationism through creation and biblical facts.
