Overpriced but they eat it every time
Our Tollers love this stuff. If I add one capsule of fish oil to each bowl of kibble, our guys make this stuff disappear in a heart beat. So, we're extremely happy they continue to eat this every time. Our second dog is a rescue and took to this immediately. So, that's worth a lot to us. The downside is the exorbitant price, which took another big jump when they added a U.S. manufacturing site. I have never seen any data which shows "premium" protein sources are in any way clinically better than the less expensive stuff. As long as the analysis shows about the same composition, it's all good stuff. However, my Management is sold on this stuff and they DO eat it without hesitation. Yes, dear. I still give them only four stars since the marketing is pure nonsense. Yeah, I know, the competition does it so they need to do it also. I can't wait till they shrink the bag to one pound and I still pay the thirteen pound price. Shucks, I shouldn't have given them the idea.

Excellent ingredients
Please read the ingredients in your current dog food! Especially vet recommended dog foods. Most dog foods have shocking ingredients such as corn and by products. Orijen seems to be a dog food that actually provides nutrition to our dogs!

Biologically appropriate, as advertised
This is the only dry food my old dog will eat after 14 years of trying many brands and styles. She still needs it mixed with a little of her favored wet food, but she is getting lots better nutrition meant for a carnivore. In the months she's been eating this food her coat is shinier, more full and her breath much less stinky. If she would eat it without having to mix in a little wet food, it could get 5 stars from us.

Pricy but worth it
My dogs love Regional Red. They find it as tasty as a treat so consequently I often give them one of two piieces as a treat.

Total tipoff. This vendor is taking advantage of the epidemic by charging at least 20 % more than store bought items.
